Re: Population of a PullDownMenu with USB Port Names

Hi Klaus,

Because of the beauty of course :D

No, you are absolutly right I don't remember the reason why I used this structure in my initial post seven years ago, but there is no reason here.

Thank you for this simplification.

Best

Re: Population of a PullDownMenu with USB Port Names

Don't be sorry and bravo, it's a beautiful transformation for a "non programmer"!

Have a good day.

Translate a stack...easily

Hi all, ---- I reproduce here a proposition already made in another forum.------ As independent creator/editor, translate a stack from a language to another is not always easy, in particular when this stack contains hundreds of literal expressions hidden in the scripts or in the tooltips. As I've ne...

Re: Plans for 2013 with LiveCode

Très bonne année à tous ! To answer the codemonster's question, this is my priority... I've never been very enthusiastic about the idea of using "multiple custom property sets". So I developed a small tool that allows to retrieve all texts in French (because I'm french) of an application under dev...

Re: Is this a logic problem?

Hi Don, It's seems that, once you enter the first vessel and click on the button, you never quit the loop of the "send checkTime to me in 1 sec". Maybe you should try to quit the loop before enter a new vessel : on checktime [...] if the mouseloc is not within the rectangle of me then send checkTime ...

Re: Sub total a list

Hi,
An exemple of implementation of sub total realised with HC/Livecode can be find here :

http://rg75.free.fr/hyperespace.T_AlK.fr.htm

It is probably the easiest way to do this kind of thing.
Only in french, for the moment, but the english version should come soon.

Re: Drag and Drop

Good evening Richardmac, here's another way to achieve this result, which I added the possibility to choose the width of the clickable area around the image. Of course, opaque and transparent image are recognized. Here I show you the basic script for the method, but you'll find the full version in t...

Re: October's Bug ?

Richard, WSamples, Thank you for your answers and for the test. @wsamples : thank you for this light. I ignored the problem of "the end of Daylight Savings Time " in France. So, as you have suggested to me, I've tried by adding two additional hours and... it works fine now. put "10/30/2011" into the...
