Re: Video
Jacque--- Resurrecting an old thread here, please excuse me but your response is the closest I have found in searching. I understand how using the player object with a path to a video in a folder allows greater control. However, how would this work with an iOS standalone? Wouldn't it be necessary to...

Re: Line chart widget and global variables
Thanks, Bernd. This seems to be working properly now. Not sure what I was doing wrong. It would be nice to be able to set the range and increments on the axes. Perhaps that will come in future iterations of the line Graph widget.

Re: Line chart widget and global variables
Thanks to all for the solutions. They worked. Now I have another problem. The scores I am trying to plot range from +20 to -20. The LineChart widget seems to randomly display the vertical axis values incorrectly, with a different increment in the positive direction and negative direction (e.g...

Re: Line chart widget and global variables
Hi Paul, not sure I understand your problem, but you are filling the variable "tData" in your mouseup handler but set the graphdata to ANOTHER local variable "tGraphValues " which is obviously empty! ... local tGraphValues put "DRS total," & gDRSTotT & return & ... "BVMT retain" & gBVMTretainT into...

Line chart widget and global variables
I am trying to incorporate the Linechart widget into a project that scores and graphs neuropsychological test results. I reviewed the online tutorial on Linechart, which as helpful and included a script for specifying the values to be graphed (these can be entered in the Linechart properties or sent...

Allowing user to draw shapes
Hi Everyone--- I am coming back to LiveCode after a long layoff and I am trying to develop a neuropsychological (cognitive) test. I want to have patients copy increasingly difficult geometric shapes (e.g. square, diamond, diamond inside a square) etc. How can I allow the user to draw a shape in a fi...

Re: Error on building standalone
Sorry for not being more clear. Yes, I am unable to build a standalone because of this error. I cannot figure out what is causing the error. This is not an emergency, but I was hoping for some help from the forum members.

Error on building standalone
Coming back to LiveCode after a long hiatus, and ran into a problem in trying to build standalone. I get this error dialog. I am also posting my standalone settings, which do not specify an icon (this used to result in getting the LiveCode default icon on a build). Error1.tiff Error2.tiff Error3.tiff

Copy card
I am coming back to Rev after a long layoff, and have had some trouble finding things in the newer documentation. I have searched the forums as well, but no luck for this very simple question. I can't recall how to copy (duplicate) an entire card. Thanks in advance for your help.

Movie location
Thanks for trying, but that did not help. One other piece of information:
If I navigate to another card in the standalone, then go back to the first card, the movie plays in the correct position.

Screen location of videoclip in standalone
I have searched the forums and tried several fixes with no success. I have a videoclip that plays properly in the correct position when in the programming environment, but after compiling the standalone for OSX, the clip plays at the upper left corner of the stack window, only partly visible. Here i...
