Hi Mike,

sorry, no idea, I am just a volunteer here, neither employed at nor related by birth or marriage with LC! :D
Please contact support as mentioned above, they will help you get a copy of your old version!

Hi Mike,

sorry, I misunderstood your question.

Usually all of your purchases (LC and third party) are listed and downloadable at your account at:https://livecode.com/login/

Hi Dean, welcome to the forum! :-) You can check my "references" page, except the app at the bottom of the page "1998", everything is made with Livecode and its ancestors Revolution or Metacard. And there is an iPad app listed, the one at the top "2013-2014". The rest is developed for desktop machin...

Re: Evaluating an expression

Hi St_Magnusser, welcome to the forum! Hi, this is my first post. Exciting! Really? Sounds like you have a rather boring life otherwise. :D ... if the value of tVar is not a number then answer "NO" OK, since the LC syntax is very english like, please finish the sentence in plain english with...

Re: drag & drop external objects

Hi Craig, uncheck "3d" for the field and the handler will work! ;-) Use something like this in the STACK or CARD script to handle the "former automatism" of text dropping in LC: on dragenter set the dragaction to "copy" set the borderColor of the target to green end dragenter on dragdrop if the drag...

When scritping "on dragenter" in the stack (or wherever), you OVERWRITE the automatism of LC and thus have to take action by yourself, even when just dropping some text!
I get that. I used your example. It prevents the drop.
It actually does not prevent the drop, it just doesn't handle it! 8)

Holding the CMD-key should not do anything harmful.

Re: drag & drop external objects

Hi stanier25, you are not doing anything wrong! LC fully supports "Drag'n'Drop", but only drag and drop of TEXT is handled automatically , that's why you see the CROSS cursor when dragging the mouse over an editable field in LC. Drag some selected text form any text editor onto a field in LC and dro...

Re: revCopyFile producing virus threat in WIN 10

Everything that is not pure TEXT (txt, csv etc.) needs to be copied via BINFILE of the resulting file may get corrupted.

Hi Klaus,
I'm a little confused about copy files tab where I can read:
non-stack files in the application
Kind regards
Jean-Marc
Doesn't matter, also works with Livecode files. :-)
