Re: Delete part of text

on mouseUp repeat for each item tItem in "1,2,3,4,5" multiply tItem by 10 put tItem & return after temp end repeat answer temp end mouseUp Surely not just "read only". And you surely do this sort of thing. So, "read only"? See my example and explanation for Jean-Marc above... Same applies to your e...

Re: Delete part of text

Hi Jean-Marc, hm, maybe because you are not really using temp but copy it to another variable? Works: ... put fld 1 into tFiles put empty into tFilesWithoutExtPng put ".jpg" into textToDelete repeat for each line temp in tFiles if char -4 to -1 of temp = textToDelete then delete char -4 to -1 of tem...

Re: Delete part of text

Hi friends, what Jean-Marc said: ... replace ".png" with EMPTY in tFiles ... HINT: "repeat for each xxx" is READ ONLY! Means you cannot modify the currently computed line/item or whatever! Example: ... repeat for each line tLine in tFiles ## You cannot change tLine! if tLine ends with ".png" then ##...

Re: Lists as in []

Yep, ARRAYS are one way to do it, but QUOTES are not neccessary for keys that are numbers. Another way is to use ITEMS or LINES: ... put "A,B,C" into tItemList put item 3 of tItemList ## -> C ... Or lines: ... put "A" & CR & "B" & CR & "C" into tLineList put line 2 of tLineList ## -> B ... Or if you...

Re: Having trouble with http & ftp

Hi TooManyNotes (I do not believe in this! :D ), welcome to the forum! I would like to see your script! In principle it is OK, but maybe the syntax is not correct. Do you get any error? Anyway, try this: ... put url("http:// your /url/here/test.txt") into fld "capture" ## Now check for possible erro...

Re: field and variable

Hi Michael, I ususally use two little function to compute (german) numbers in LC fields:. Put these into the stack script and use them anywhere you need to: function ohnekomma tNumber ## ohne komma = german for: without comma replace COMMA with "." in tNumber return tNumber end ohnekomma function mi...

Re: writing and loading array to and from file

Hi Michael, well, this: ... put fld "f1" into tf1 put fld "f2" into tf2 put fld "f3" into tf3 put tf1,tf2,tf3 into tMultiArray ... will NOT create an array of any kind, just the content of your threee field, separated by comma! 8) You should do this: ... ## We create a one dimensional array_ put fld...

Re: Image control with dynamically associated image

Buonasera Allessio, 1 - Can I import images into the stack without creating an image control for each of them? no, once an image is in LC it becomes an image object. 2 - Can I use a single image control to associate the image that matches the criteria I provide? Yes, sure, you can always do somethin...

Re: Cycle that scrolls all the images of a folder

Code: Select all

...
put defaultFolder & "/ days /" into tFolder
put files (tFolder) into tFiles
## repeat for each item temp in tFiles
repeat for each LINE temp in tFiles
       answer temp
end repeat
...
Is this what you were missing? -> LINE (not ITEM!)

Re: Cycle that scrolls all the images of a folder

Hi Alessio,

not ure what you mean, maybe:

Code: Select all

...
put "path/to_your/image_folder" into tFolder
put files(tFolder) into tFiles
## Now you have a CR delimited list of all files in that folder in -> tFiles
## Do whatever you need with this list...
## Is that what you were looking for?

Re: Playing sounds in Browser widget on Windows 10

Hi Mark,

as far as I know WebKit, the browser framework on the Mac, which is used by LC and also Safari, does not support OGG files.
