Re: How to change current stack

Hi Craig,
Klaus' suggestion always put the stack of interest in front, but that does not always jibe with what the user is intended to see.
this is so true, I also recommend the explicit card and stack referencing in cases like this one!

Re: How to change current stack

Maybe you could just:
...
set the defaultstack to "main"
...
?

Re: How to store an array in

Hi Zax, yep, "the styledtext of fld xyz" not only seems to be, but in fact IS an ARRAY, that's why I was asking if this was mandatory. Just create a node for each card with "number", "title" and "fieldcontent" (and/or whatever you need to save) and just store -> the htmltext of fld "your field here"...

Re: Understanding the timescale property

Hi Rand, sorry for being a bit late for the party... I am just a user of LC and have no knowledge about the "innerds" of LC. But I think "the timescale of player xyz" is only something that the underlying multimedia-system returns and we and LC do not have any influence on that. Since there are prob...

Re: How to store an array in

Hi Zax,

does it have to be an ARRAY? "the htmltext of fld xyz" and "the rtftext of fld xyz" will also preserve the formatting of the field. This way you could also store everything into a XML file.

My XML-knowledge is a bit rusty, but you get the picture. :D

Re: text to num

Hello TheRedLord,

welcome to the forum!

Not sure I understand, but looks like you mean something like:

Code: Select all

...
## fld 1 -> 1+1
put VALUE(fld 1) into fld 2
## fld 2 -> 2
...

Re: Upload image into SQL [Longblob]

Hi jwtea, something like this should do: on mouseup ## type is a reserved word! put "*.jpg;*.gif;*.png" into tTypes if there is not an image "photo" then create image "photo" end if answer file "Select file" with type tTypes if it is empty then exit mouseUp end if put it into fn ##if there is a file...

Re: How to access the text content of a substack w/o opening

Hi John,

hm, this definitively works in my little test!
Button in mainstack, "sss" is the closed substack:

Code: Select all

on mouseUp
   put fld "feld" of cd 1 of stack "sss" into fld "mainstackfield"
end mouseUp

Re: Error on insert into

Buonasera Alessio, I think the variables need to be in quotes and must not be part of the roiginal SQL statement: put "INSERT INTO tb_godute ('fld_data', 'fld_ore', 'fld_causale') VALUES (:1, :2, :3)" into sqlInsert revExecuteSQL conn, sqlInsert, "miadata", "ore", "causale" If in doubt ALWAYS take a...
