...
copy image "imageUpload" to group "group_volunteer"
set the name of last img of grp "group_volunteer" to "imageupload2"
# or whatever

## Now you can:
delete img "imageupload"
...

Re: Filter Script & Patterns & Regex

Hi Clarence, the asterisk is just a placeholder for one or MORE characters of ANY kind! So this: ... filter lines of (field) with "*" & tab &'*" & tab &"value*" ... Will also leave something like this in the field: ... whatever TAB some string TAB another string TAB and yet another string TAB some n...

Re: Filter Script & Patterns & Regex

... I finally settled on this: filter lines of (field) with "*" & tab &'*" & tab &"value*" this will filter the list of lines based on the 3rd tabbed item for each line. Hint: Don't forget that the asterisk * stands for ANY character, means also for a TAB, so this will also filter lines based on th...

Yep, I'm afraid so. To get you started:
Wenn ist das nun Stück gitt und Schlottermeyer? - Ja: Bayer-Hund. Das, oder die Flipper-Wald Gespütt!

Re: Set button width to the width of its label?

Not outdated, but a non-universal quip, just avoid american-culture-centric jokes, if you know what I mean. :D

"Wimpy" is hardly known outside of the US of A.

Klaus - I remember going by the Popeye village on Malta with the 2006 conference.
Really? I don't. :D

Of course I know Popeye, but his cartoons have not been in german television in the last 40 years or so.

Re: preOpenStack or openStack

Hi Turtle, ... is it a good idea to call my dataDbConnect function in preOpenStack? no problem in the IDE, but in a standalone this might not work, due to the way LC loads its externals like the database driver. In that case I would: on preopenstack ## your preopenstack stuff here... send "dataDbCon...

Re: Set button width to the width of its label?

No, I did not get paid yet, Ethel! 8)

Took a while until I got the "Wimpy" joke, since there are no Wimpy shops in germany at all and the last one I saw was about 45 years ago in the netherlands, specivo in the city of Arnhem. :D

Re: Presenting images

Hi atrembla, I think the problem is that you are using the WINDOWS path delimiter BACKSLASH \, which does not work on a Mac! Since LC ALWAYS uses the Unix pathdelimiter SLASH /, so you should use it, since this will work on Windows AND Mac and all other supported platforms! If you are using relative...

Re: Sound Test

No, "player" object only work with external/referenced files! Actually nothing has changed in this respect since the ol' Metacard days. 8) One way is to save the sound file in a custom property, "spit" it out to a (temp!) file and then reference your player to it. BTW: The stack does not work on a M...

I suspect your right... Really? Come on! 8) Thanks Klaus, I suspect your being gently sarcastic :P (j/k, I am sure he is right). I am just making a bit fun of your wimpy language skills! :D It is spelled, "you are right" or abbreviated "you're right", isn't it? "I suspect your right" has a complete...
