Re: Using external script only stack as behaviour

This will work in the IDE and also in a standalone if you add the script-stacks via the
"Copy files" button in the "Standalone Application Settings".

And exactly therefore we have these specialfolderpath() codes! :D

Re: How to stop Answer Dialog from displaying "answer dialog" ?

Everything in "preopenstack" should happen BEFORE any pixel of that stack gets rendered on the monitor.
So the position of a line should really not matter then.

Re: How to stop Answer Dialog from displaying "answer dialog" ?

...So where might any sort of timing routine be located? "PreOpenStack"?. In the script of cd ONE of that stack: on preOpenStack global gAnswerDebugInfo global gAPKLargeFonts, gREVSmallAppIcon, gREVAppIcon local tIcons, tMacOSX, tMargin, tNumber, tIconWord, tIconAllowance, tText local tButtonNames,...

So set your title to " ". 8)
This is alredy done in the "preopenstack" Handler of the "Answer Dialog" stack,
if you do not supply the TITLED parameter!

But apparently this does not work reliably on Windows, no problem on my Mac.

Re: How to stop Answer Dialog from displaying "answer dialog" ?

Hi Fred,

well, that is the name and title of that stack.
But you can force to display something else in the window title by scripting:

Code: Select all

...
answer "yadda yadday" TITLED "NO fricking dialog title"
...
If that is what you mean. :D

Re: Primary Student Livecode Interface (Simplified Developer Interface)

Hi Richmond, Why send mouseup twice? Aye, well that does sound a bit daft . . . but . . . The stack "TB" has the buttons saved in the condition they were in when last used, so, if, mouseUp were sent up only once the revTools stack would end up in exactly the reverse configuration to that saved. Then...

Re: Primary Student Livecode Interface (Simplified Developer Interface)

Scrolled my way through all kind of REV stuff until I found the palette -> revto...
