Hi All,
I get a different display with LC 8.16 (good) and LC 9.01 (bad) as you can see on images below

Re: Putting image into a circle shape

Hi,
is there a way to centralise the image
You may try to set the rect of your img to the rect of your grc.
If the human face is on the middle of your image that should work.

Hi All,
A simple way to put the results of a script search into the message box
After your research is done, type this in messagebox:

Code: Select all

put the text of mousecontrol()
place cursor over fld "search result", type return with keyboard 8)

Re: Delete part of text

Hi Klaus
I had forgotten "ends with" which is useful for this.
Not sure I understand
repeat for each xxx" is READ ONLY!
line:

Code: Select all

delete char -4 to -1 of temp
in my second script works fine. What I dont understand ?

Hi Alessio, You can use replace like this: replace ".png" with empty in tFiles or use a loop put empty into tFilesWithoutExtPng put ".png" into textToDelete repeat for each line temp in tFiles if char -4 to -1 of temp = textToDelete then delete char -4 to -1 of temp end if put temp & cr after tFiles...

Re: field and variable

Hi,
You have some type in your script (Felda*Feldb)
This should work

Code: Select all

on mouseUp pButtonNumber
   put fld "Felda" into tFelda
   put fld "Feldb" into tFeldb
put tFelda * tFeldb into tErgebnis
   put tErgebnis
end mouseUp

Hi longzexd,
The idea is attractive but you have to consider you will lost edit tools (indentation for loop, search tools ...)
Just a thought

Hi Ali, At this time we haven't a simple way to use texttospeech on iOS and i read this: Now we have the foreign function interface in LiveCode Builder, it would be relatively easy to create an LCB library extension to implement it, and subsume the functionality of revSpeak on desktop. Some of us ha...
