Re: Stack as website?

Bad news, good news, better news, amd best news: The Good News: HTML, CSS, and JavaScrtipt are just plain text, and LiveCode is unusually adept at manipulating text. Many of us produce Web sites using LiveCode as a key part of the process, generating HTML/CSS to translate layouts to a Web-ready for...

WordReport not working

I've used WordReport 1.03 in this stack a year and a half ago and it worked (I don't remember what build of LC I first used it on - 5-something, maybe). Everything worked fine. When I began using LC 6-something (I'm now on 7.0.0) with this same stack it stopped working in all standalones created. It...

Re: non-public symbols automatic rejection?

I actually took all substacks out - I forgot resizing for display resolution is now built into livecode so i no longer need the resizer substack.

Still same problem

Glad to see it's not just me - but anxious to get a fix!

The only thing I'm using is libAltMobileResizer

non-public symbols automatic rejection?

Was submitting a new version of an app to iTunes through Application Loader (last version submitted about a year ago) and get the following: "The app references non-public symbols in [app name]: MPMoviePlayerContentPreLoadDidFinishNotification" I have zero idea what it's talking about - I don't use ...

livecode 6.1.2 not building standalone for ios correctly

I updated to Livecode 6.1.2 and xcode 5 this morning to get iOS 7 support and when I try to create the standalone I get the attached error.

Thanks!

Re: iOS 7 - script stops when device asleep

Thanks!

In the meantime, I think I figured out my own question and figured out how to do local notification based off the time they start it rather than sound the alarm when time runs out according to the on-going script. That will help in the meantime! :)

iOS 7 - script stops when device asleep

I have a reading time tracker app - it can count up as people read or count down and sound an alarm when their pre-set time expires. Worked great on iOS 6...but last night my son updated his iPad to iOS7 and he noticed that the alarm never went off. (two nights ago when he was iOS6 it worked fine......

Getting info from URL into stack

I'm trying to get information from the Google Books API into a livecode stack. I've managed to get it into html format and if I go to this URL in a web browser I get exactly what I need (for example: put " http://kellymdeters.on-rev.com/readingtrackerapp/book.lc?isbn=9780309217422 "). However, when ...

Sending emails with LiveCode

I'm stuck! At first I set up and was very successful sending emails from my standalone using the on-rev.com server that is my host (following these instructions: http://lessons.runrev.com/s/lessons/m/4070/l/8184-sending-emails-from-livecode-server-scripts). The problem that I hit is that, once again...

Emulators & standalones not working for android

I've been working on an app and had to wait for LC 5.5.5 to be released last week to get it's new revision into app store. That has now been a success...but I have an issue with the android side that I never had before. The emulator and actual devices just show a black screen when you run the app......

Re: Option buttons not working on Android App

Nope, I'm talking about a button that is an "Option menu" (see this: http://lessons.runrev.com/s/lessons/m/4603/l/44105-using-option-menus). To get it to do what I want on iOS (iPad) I have them set as "option menu" (if you change them to pull-down or pop-up it changes your entire screen into the me...
