Re: Domain vs subdomain

Linda, as Livecodehosting is not acting as a Domain registrar you have to stay with Networksolutions as the registrar. In your Networksolution account you can change the settings for your domain to use custom nameservers. If Networksolutions is also your webhoster then you have to check with them ho...

Re: Cannot paste tabs into excel or google docs in v.8

Hi, i´ve posted a reply to your post in the mailing list already. But to keep this discussion here current: i cannot reproduce that here on Mac OS X and Excel 2016 (V 15.30). I executed your sample code in the messagebox and was able to paste successfully the clipboard to Excel. I even tried with al...

Re: save text into UTF8 file

Hi,
if i remember right you have to write the data as binfile.

So change line 4 of your sample script to
put txtData into URL("binfile:" & theFileName)

Re: Little How To? use PHP and PDO communication with MYSQL

Yes that´s true. But there are also many providers who either allow to install Livecode Server using .htaccess method or even install it if manual installation by the customer is not possible. Re: FTP and security

Gary, did you try FTPeS? Please use the original server name in your connection settings, not YOURDOMAIN.on-rev.com. You only need an ssl certificate if you want to access your site with https. The good thing is that you can ask On-Rev support to install a free Let´s encrypt certificate. But this do...

Re: Embed An EXE File Within Application

Googie, One way would be to copy the 2nd exe into the folder of the created standalone. IF you want to automate this then you can setup this in the standalone settings.
