Re: trouble with returns in windows cURL
You cant have returns in cURL in windows Hm, is it possible that mailgun expects the returns as LF? I am wondering if using LF as line delimiter in the text and saving the file as binary to hard disk (URL "binfile:....) and then using the path to that file as input for the text would allow plain te...

Re: Different kinds of QR codes?
Both the iOS and Android standalones settings in LC support the custom URL scheme. If you define a string in that field, let's say trevix then the mobile app will be opened as soon as you launch an url like this trevix://.......whateveryouplace here. If you scan a qrcode that contains the custom url...

Re: put url does not work in standalone Windows 10
I seconds STAMs post.
As http: is working it seems tsNET and Internet library was correctly select in the Standalone Settings -> Inclusions.
But you need also to include SSL&Encryption, otherwise https connections will not work.

Re: Can a livecode app be a menuitem app on Mac?
You mean you want your LC app to stay in the menu bar or better said you want your LC app to display a menu in the status bar on Mac?
If that's the question then yes.
Have a look at 'mac status menu' in the dictionary.

Re: PolyGrid Direct Cell Editing?
It just seems a bit misleading for LiveCode to post (in my (almost) link in the OP) "Direct cell editing" when there is none. Disappointing... You could post a feature request here https://quality.livecode.com Especially regarding Polygrid and Polylist Livecode Ltd. was very quick with reasonable f...

Re: eMail Account Selection
On desktop maybe this could be done letting LC or the created app execute Applescript on macOS and Visualbasic script on Windows. So far so good... But then LC or the created app needs to know which email client is the customer using and then it needs to have the correct AS/VB script for that specif...

Someone on the mailing list usually lets us know but it's sporadic. And yes, I had to give up on trying to use most of the widgets due to lack of information on how they work. Did you notice the example folder after unpacking the zip? The example folder contains sample stacks for all or at least fo...

Re: Editing code in external editors (VSCode, Atom, BBEdit etc)?
I am using an editor for LC Server scripts (Sublime and sometimes Ultraedit) and sometimes i copy very large scripts from LC IDE to an external editor to do some tasks that are done faster with an external editor.
I voted for option 2 (cumbersome) as i really would prefer a much better editor.
