Filed report 20682.

But, as usual, am I the only one seeing this?

Craig
I just added a comment to the bug report, I'm getting a similar issue on a particular project at the moment.

Re: Error "Can't open stack file"

Lc 9 dp10 can also be almost unusable on Windows. Literally 30 seconds between keystroke responses if "some things" happen. Not sure what things but prime suspects are the auto updater running in the background (which has always had the potential to hang lc) and the cef browser instance if the dicti...

Re: Linux: Property Inspector sometimes renders transparent

I am not sure if this could be related but on Windows 10 with LiveCode 9-dp10 the property inspector often sizes itself to cut off all but the top couple of inches. It can be scrolled to bring the other items into view. I don't know how to consistently trigger it. Maybe the PI redrawing needs a gene...

Re: FAQ for tha LiveCode raspberryians?

Vielen dank wieder Hermann! When you say "weak" for the WLAN, you mean the WiFi signal strength is not great, or that using WiFi causes crashes and/or problems sometimes? I think I would go for the newer, faster one as I'm not that fussed about the python stuff. What about the Pi Zero W? Is that any...

Re: FAQ for tha LiveCode raspberryians?

I am looking at trailing after the Raspberry Pi bandwagon - it's a long way ahead of me, so I'm wondering if there is any more up to date info or changes to the FAQ and details provided on this forum about getting installed and running LC apps on the device. Some advice on what model to start out wi...

Re: Hide chars field password

Surely a Password font simply consists of a font with a blob in every position: if so anyone with half a brain only has to copy-paste the string somewhere else and change the font to see the password. Yes, and again, you, as a developer, have to prevent this, maybe by cathing the "pastekey". Trevor...

Re: App crashed after “Unfortunately myApp has stopped”

How is the app compiled? Monolithic standalone or splashstack and "working" stack? With a splashstack & "working" stack combination, I have noticed that if your working stack makes a call to an external app (browser for instance) that when you return to the stack from that operation, you will get th...

Re: Using repeat loop to add values

The cat is losing skin alarmingly!
Another approach:

Code: Select all

   repeat with i = 1 to thisNum
      add value("Numb" & i) to tTempSum
   end repeat

Thierry once told me I should respect him because he is older than me. (Not sure by how much but it can't be that many years.)
I respect practically everybody. I admire Thierry.

Re: Google Map API getting error

You need to look up "replace" in the dictionary. The syntax is literally as I wrote above. Also look up "urlEncode" Klaus showed the way to make a string that combines quoted litrral text with variables. Your best bet is to get some more practice by working through these simple instructional stacks ...
