Re: apk finalization failed error message
Sphere, thank you so much for asking!!! No, there have been no responses, and my apk is in a holding position. I'm truly stuck, and not moving forward with making necessary updates for my app in the play store. I would be eternally grateful for any help with this!!

When saving as a standalone I get the message: “There was an error while saving the standalone application apk finalization failed.” I’m on a MacBook Pro, Mojave, using LC 9.5.0 and followed the updated instructions to install Java 8 and use the most recent version of Android Studio. Has anyone had ...

Re: Disappearing Buttons using 9.0.1 Simulator
Thank you,Panos. I used LC 8.1.5 on the version that worked before IOS 12. I used 9.0.1 to build the current one with the problems. I'm using Xcode 9.2 Set the acceleratedRendering to true didn't help, unfortunately.

Disappearing Buttons using 9.0.1 Simulator
When I click on one of a group of buttons with a scroll down menu and choose an item, the other buttons all disappear. If I click in the place where a button used to be, it shows briefly, then the scroll down menu appears and is functioning, and then the button disappears. Sometimes, when I click wh...

Re: Update password problems
From what I've read, I think creating a new Keystore and passwords makes it so people who already have the app can no longer upgrade. I'd have to remove the old one and reintroduce it under the same name. I plan to change it to a paid app, so those who already have it would not be able to upgrade fo...

Update password problems
I’m updating a three year old app, and may have gotten mixed up when first entering the alias and passwords when saving for this release. Do you get shut out after a couple of wrong password entries? Is there a way to get a fresh start? I’m quite sure I have the correct ones now, but I keep getting ...

Re: Package appears to be corrupt
Thank you so much for taking the time to help. I did discover that whereas you don't need to uninstall a previous version on Android 6 devices, you do need to on Android 7, and that's why the Android 7 thought the package was corrupted.

Package appears to be corrupt
I'm using LC 9 DP 8 and can successfully load onto an android tablet using S 6. I used to be able to load onto a Galaxy phone using S 6, put since the phone has been upgraded to S 7, I get the message "App not installed. The package appears to be corrupt." Has anybody else had this problem?

Re: Keyboard not dismissed after returninfld
The "Answer" work around worked well on my Android v. 6 tablet. But I can't load the app on my v. 7 phone for testing. It says the file is corrupted. The old version of the app doesn't even appear in the Play Store from the v. 7 phone, but is there when accessing via a v. 6 phone. I'm building with ...
