File import picture to image control
Hi, I'm probably missing something obvious but I cannot seem to get a decent image into an image control. Here is my code put "" into image "coverimage" of card "Editor" answer file "Select an image (preferably 120dpxx120px)" with tStartDirectory with type ("JPEG Images|jpg, jpeg|JPEG" & return & "PN...

Re: IOS Files App Folder
I think I'm making some headway with this :) I can use MergDoc to export out from the "documents" folder to the Files app. Presumably, I can then use custom info.plist (lesson http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4069/l/1069016-associating-a-file-type-file-extension-with-an-lc-ios-app) so that in the Files...

Re: Not able to load app onto iPhone
Hello, I wonder if anyone can advise why my IOS devices do not show as test targets in Livecode. I only realised just now that an IOS device cabled to my Mac should show up as a test target? I've always tested on the simulator and then deployed to iPad/iPhone by dragging a standalone app via the dev...

Re: IOS Files App Folder
Yes , you can plug a USB stick into the IOS device and access/copy files across into the Files app. Its those I would like to read and write to, i.e. not just locally to the LiveCode app itself.

Re: IOS Files App Folder
Thanks for the suggestion, I did try just writing a plain text file and it will save and retrieve but again nothing in the Files area on the iPhone.

Re: IOS Files App Folder
Many thanks for the suggestion, sadly I could not get it to work. I enabled the File Sharing check box in a test app in the IOS Standalone Settings - Requirements screen but despite working in Run mode on my Mac and making a folder then writing to it I had no luck with a Simulator or iPhone 6 or iPa...

Browser widget with included folder
Hello Has anyone managed to get a folder with HTML files included into an IOS app and accessed with the browser widget? I have included a folder called "iac" in the standalone settings that has an idex.html file and other content. It works fine with a direct path to the index.html file on my local d...

Re: Success with testing in-app purchases
Hi, sadly the app is not working on my iPhone 6s running IOS 13.6, downloaded from app store, icon is displayed, when launched it opens and closes immediately. Tried restarting device with no success, same with iPad Air.
Pity really as wanted to see the in app purchase working.

Multitouch Piano Keyboard
Hi all. I want to develop a piano-style keyboard for IOS. Multitouch using Touchstart/Touchend works fine for the individual Round Rectangle Graphic keys but I'd like to include the ability to drag a finger across the keys to trigger notes as well (rather than just tapping them). Does anyone have an...

IOS Files App Folder
Hi all. I'd like to try and get a custom folder in the IOS iPhone Files app to expose documents created by my app. I know that LiveCode mobile saves to a sandbox documents folder but how can I get that folder (or a different new one) to show up in the Files app? In Files I can see folders for Excel,...

Re: Another app on the AppStore
Yeah circle of faiths lol.
I was going to skip the Android version since it seemed a bit of a hassle to install and Android test environment, but I’ll try without one and just upload to the Play store if I can.
