Re: Codesigning error

Colleagues Seems that building iOS Apps with Livecode 8.1 on macOS Sierra is broken when getting to the code-signing section of the build process. All certificates and profiles are up-to-date so this is a real problem if you have upgraded macOS. Points made by Chelling are valid. We''ll just have to...

Re: When can we simulate iOS 10?

TeacherGuy

That is interesting. Thanks.

Just had confirmation that an LC app built with 8.1 pass App Store review process so now to upload all the others!

Re: When can we simulate iOS 10?

Colleagues Solved the install problem identified above. Simply use AirLaunch, the LC plugin available here: http://hyperactivesw.com/airlaunch/index.html App installed and tested. Works fine with no display issue on iOS 10. Relief. Hope this is helpful for others. Now to continue with all the other ...

Re: When can we simulate iOS 10?

Colleagues Well, the plan was working fine until the testing on a device running iOS 10. In Xcode 7.3.1 there is an error stating "Could not find developer disk image." So it looks like you can only transfer an App built in LC 8.1 to a device running iOS 10 via Xcode 8. Will experiment a bit further...

Re: When can we simulate iOS 10?

Live Coders Well it is all happening. Seems the App Store review process is now using iOS 10 meaning an App is likely to break on screen like others have reported (iPad landscape mode). That issue is reportedly now fixed in LC 8.1 but then the problem is you cannot yet test on iOS 10 as the SDK is n...

Re: 64 bit coding required soon

To be clear, the Apple requirement is that from 1 February 2015 "...new iOS apps uploaded to the App Store must include 64-bit support and be built with the iOS 9 SDK..." (Apple Developer News and Updates: 20 October 2014). To meet this requirement, it looks like future versions of LC will need to b...

Re: 64 bit coding required soon

Colleagues A move toward 64 bit LC builds is most welcome, particularly given Apple's target date of 1 February 2015. The downside is that Apps built for iOS below 5.1.1 cannot be 64-bit. This means we all have to consider the target builds very carefully from here on in. According to Apple, almost ...

Re: Version Numbers for iTC TestFlight

Colleagues The feature request has been confirmed by the LC team. So we can look forward to this in a future update. I know there are many developers using LC who are interested in this small change but it will have a big impact in terms of submitting sequential builds via iTC for TestFlight Beta te...

Version Numbers for iTC TestFlight

Colleagues To utilise the TestFlight functionality in iTunes Connect (iTC) there is a need to generate pre-release builds. Ideally it would be good if there was an option in the Application Settings to provide a pre-release version as well. Looking at the iTC documentation it seems that the Info.pli...

Re: dead in the water with ios 8

Colleagues

Has anyone else noticed that testing an iPhone App on the simulator for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ has a screen scaling issue.

Seems like LC 6.6.4 RC1 is attempting to apply its own scaling process.

Re: Application Loader ITMS-9000 errors UPDATE

Started over with a fresh copy of 6.6.1, edited the settings.plist files with TextWrangler and used the modified 6.6.1 to build and submit without errors. Thank you. Good to see this seems to have worked for others too. Important to note that this fix was only my solution for working with LC 6.6.1 ...

Re: Application Loader ITMS-9000 errors UPDATE

Colleagues AN UPDATE Same problem this morning so decided to delve into the App package and look in detail at the LC generated Info.plist. Discovered the problem in the following element: <key>DTXcodeBuild</key> <string>5B130a</string> This string is "built-in" to the LC application package for the ...

App upload errors via Application Loader - UPDATE

Colleagues From today (15 May) the App store now requires all Apps to be build with Xcode 5.1.1 and the latest iOS SDK. We have just updated an iOS App built with LC6.6.1 and latest Xcode 5.1.1 and all goes well except the infamous ITMS-9000 alert is shown in Application Loader. Application LoaderSc...

I am rather curious - have you tried uploading onto an iPad?

It seems there are some variation amongst different devices.
