Refresh problem
If I move a window over my stack everything on the card disappears (but the button actions are enabled). If I minimize the stack and pull it back up, it refreshes everything on the card. I am using a MacBook running Leopard. Any suggestions on how I can fix this problem? Here is what I am describing...

Drag and Drop - Chemical Formulas
I wish to create an exercise for my students where they click on a chemical formula (from a list of 10 or more) and drag it to one of two graphic bins labeled ionic and covalent. If the text is dropped in the correct bin they hear a "reward" sound and the formula remains in the bin. If placed in the...

Replacing a number with an asterisk.
I am authoring a program for my students and want to have them stop, show me their work, and I type in a code (0051) before they can proceed on. Here is what I have: on mouseUp ask "Now that you have your stamp, have your teacher type in the code to continue." put it into rightcode if rightcode is "...

Prevent keyboard navigation through stack
What script can I use to prevent a student from navigating forward and backward through my stack using the keyboard arrows? I want them to preform a task and type in the answer to progress through the stack - not be able to jump from card to card using the arrow keys. I've looked through the documen...

Erasing a videoclip after it has played.
I'm playing a 68 second videoclip then automatically moving to the next card. My problem is that the videoclip remains on screen and blocks out the text on the next screen. I thought that using this script would solve the problem but the image of the last frame carries over to the next card. Here is...

It looks like you got the name wrong. That could very well be. The name of the stack showing underneath the icon is Density.rev but the named displayed at the top of the stack when I open it is Mass, Volume & Density. I've tried both in a variety of formats (with and without .rev) but without any s...

Mark, Please excuse my ignorance as I have only been using Revolution for a short period of time. I have authored half a dozen stacks without any problem but this one has me in a bit of a quandary. When I open the message box and enter the first line of script in the single line message box I get: S...

Mark and Malte, That is correct - if I create a new stack the actions are functional. I authored the stack over the weekend and wish to continue editing it but cannot do so as all the editing tools are grayed out - along with Save. Perhaps I made a mistake somewhere but don't have a clue as to what ...
