Image Colour Profiles
Hello - I've just briefly dipped in to LC after a VERY long gap because I want to update a small utility that I wrote in order to resize and export JPEG images. It works beautifully (even though I say so myself) except it comes unstuck with colour profiles other than sRGB. If, for example, I drop a ...

Re: Camera Raw
Hmmmm. Thanks for the hint. But I was hoping to make a very simple utility for members of my camera club to be able to resize. i can certainly handle the shell command, but I really didn't want the members to have to be installing extra software! But it is certainly worth a try. And in any case wort...

Camera Raw
Hello all. Probably being a bit optimistic here, but is there any way for LiveCode to import "RAW" camera files? (e.g. NEF files from Nikon etc) MacOS can handle them (and presumably Windows too) - is there any way to leverage the OS support for them to get them into a LC stack?

Re: Dropping a folder onto a closed standalone
Brilliant! Thank you! (Actually, your sample script anticipates another problem I have. Elsewhere in my project I need to be able to identify valid audio files. The "file type" external that is alluded to: where could I find such a thing? Or should I just roll my own function by looking at filename ...

Dropping a folder onto a closed standalone
Hello folks - I'm hoping this one is easy, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I want to be able to open a standalone by dropping a folder onto it. Now actually that bit is easy (on Mac at least) by including "folder" in the pList data. But how do I pass the folder path to the stack script...

OS X screensaver
Hello folks -
Quick question: is it possible to make a true (i.e selectable from system prefs) screen saver for os x using Rev.
If yes... how?
All the best,
Chris

Preventing sleep
Hello - does anyone know of a good way to prevent a machine (os x) going to sleep? I have written a simple photo/video display program to show my snapshots, but I'm becoming increasingly bothered about killing the planet. I want to set my mac mini to sleep after a few minutes of inactivity - but *no...

Plotting AIFF waveform
Hello folks -
I seem to remember a while back that some clever person had produced a routine for parsing and plotting sound waveforms. Or am I dreaming it?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanx
Chris
