Does Rev using blocking (synchronous) messaging?
Just debugged a piece of code that sends a mouseUp to a button before doing a few more things. I had accidentally disabled the button and then the code after the send did not get executed anymore....

Look at screenRect() and screenLoc() - (and their "See Also"s) - they should take you there...

Then how would you interpret this? The visual effect command affects only navigation within a window. If you want to create a transition effect when moving between stacks, use the go...in window form of the go command: visual effect wipe down go stack "Index" in window "Part 2" -- replaces stack on ...

Not working - what am I doing wrong. Docs say to use 'go .. in window' in this case - at least that's how I interpret it. Yes, Malte, indeed I have. But what's the solution then? I do not understand how these things relate? If, for instance, the 'dissolve' is really a variable parameter it must already be defined for the engine to act upon it. So why would the engine bitch about it (irregardless of these settings)? TIA...
