Re: Call for Community Team Members for RPi build

Hi Richard and others,
I can help, once the edition of LC for the Pi is released. I am more of an aid on pr, docs, web, edu and not code.

Re: WiFi Timer system

Wow. Keep me in the loop.

I coach swimming. So, timing is very important to us.

I've also been working a bit with a firm in Australia that has a fantastic stop-watch solution. But, that is another story.

Please keep me informed.

Re: Many ways to animate

This is a fantastic thread and very valuable for something we hope to do with our pending grant in Pittsburgh. Thanks for the great examples. I also am making a note here to myself to check the user-list archives as well as there has been some valued content tossed in that space in this topic too. T...

Re: PROJECT: Pluggers: The need for digital badges

Hi All, Now that this Pittsburgh grant application has been sent in for possible funding, it is time to share what is cooking with the LC community so that it can be refined and retooled, and hopefully, built. http://aforathlete.wikia.com/wiki/LiveCode_XPs The overall program is part of LRNG, http:/...

Re: Education Catalog

Rather than making a catalog, let's all use this existing resource and we can make a tag, if it is not already present, for educational pointers.

Re: How to put LiveCode in the hands of more teachers/studen

one good way to attract teachers is to post some of teacher created apps Sadly, this site is getting very old. It is a great resource that should not be left to wither. http://livecode1001.blogspot.com/ Happy to see Andy Piddock stepping up. I would help too. All the teacher created apps, and micro...

Re: Advertising on Android

Wondering if the new LiveCode ad program will work with Android and the Community version of LiveCode?

Can one put ads and an income stream into an app if it is open source?

Ordered.
I didn't see the SD disk and NOOBS. We'll see if that comes with the Pi 3.

Favorite Pi Vendor for EDU folks in USA?

Hi,

Does anyone have any vendors to suggest? Looking for Raspberry Pi 3, case, SD card with NOOBS, etc.

Is there a trusted EDU vendor? Confidence.

Shipping from the UK seems costly.

Thanks.

Re: Raspberry Pi as a LiveCode platform. It gotta happen.

So, is there a Edu-trusted, USA vendor selling the Raspberri Pi 3 + case + 16 gig SD card with NOOBS? Making a purchase from the UK seems to send the shipping cost to a place nearly as equal to the device itself. I'll place an order for the Pi for me now. But, if this grant gets accepted, I'm expect...

Re: PROJECT: Pluggers: The need for digital badges

Tiny update: Sent out a letter to our various, potential partners, mostly local, concerning the grant application I'm working on in Pittsburgh. It is posted to my wiki: http://aforathlete.wikia.com/wiki/Sprout_Fund/Playlists_RFP/call_1 There were just a couple of twits for the call to LiveCode.com. ...

Re: PROJECT: Pluggers: The need for digital badges

LiveCode does it all. Meanwhile, digital badges and coursework must slice and dice. We need steps, pathways and playlists so as to teach and lead the students. Perhaps the distinctions stages are: Stage 0: Start-up, Newbie. --> Stage 1: Competency. ----> Stage 2: Literacy. ------> Stage 3: Fluency. ...
