Re: Image problems

I just realized this, when reading through the "Images and Multimedia" lesson from http://www.hyperactivesw.com/revscriptc ... ences.html, as recommended by Klaus. Thanks for the confirmation of what I've just been reading :D !

Re: Image problems

I am dying here of embarrassment and you're both right, I'm mixing up everything and misunderstood the "img1" thing from Klaus's code too  . And I still don't get it to work   : put "/home/Documents/Pics/someImage.png" into varImage put url("binfile:" & varImage) into imageNames[11...

Re: Image problems

Damn it! When I add

Code: Select all

set the location of image img1 to 100,100
after

Code: Select all

put url("binfile:/home/Documents/Pics/someImage.png") into imageNames[11]
put imageNames[11] into img1
I get the "no such object" error again :(

Re: Image problems

Thank you so much for your suggestions party people! I tried them but: This doesn't work, I get "no such object" - also after commenting out the third line: put "someImage.png" into imageNames[11] put "/home/Documents/Pics/someImage.png" into varImage put url("binfile:" & varImage) into imageNames[1...

[SOLVED] Image problems

Hi guys, I am trying to display an image at a certain location. Rather various images, therefore I put the image names into an array. Trying to display them gave me object expression errors. With all my different trials I am totally confused, so please forgive me when I don't post them and the relat...

Re: [SOLVED] Problem with replacement of a character

Okay thanks. I thought by defining the position of the char to be replaced ("... char charPosition..."), only this one position would be touched. AND I forgot all about "put into". Works fine now.

[SOLVED] Problem with replacement of a character

Hi Livecoders, probably this is a very simple one, but unfortunately not simple enough for me :? . In a string, e. g. "/folder/subfolder", I am wanting to replace the second "/" with a "." To achieve this I coded the following: put "/folder/subfolder" into fld "fField" if offset("/", fld "fField", 1...

Re: Ask password dialogue buttons

Okay I'm on Linux and used the temporary solution, which works well. I wasn't aware that those dialogues are stacks  . Many thanks!

[SOLVED] Ask password dialogue buttons

Hello All,
I am wondering if it is possible to change the standard buttons (OK and Cancel) of the ask password dialogue? E. g. 'Yes' instead of 'OK', 'No' instead of 'Cancel'?
Thanks!

Re: [SOLVED] Groups disappear from card

I am attaching the messy Stack. When for example Group A und B (the first two) are ungrouped, then the group members of Group B seem to get kicked out of their Group, by the group members of Group A. In the Stack, Group A and its members are now invisible. In the Project Browser Group A is gone, its...

Re: Groups disappear from card

I will definitely make sure in the future. Finally I got back to this today and would like to share how I managed to make the groups visible again. In the Project Browser: first I unlocked the location of the group (right-click on the group, untick Lock Location) and then I set the visibility of one...

Re: Groups disappear from card

Hi guys,
thanks so far. So I am attaching a screenshot of the PB, although I had already tidied up the mess in it - I don't think it's very meaningful this way, is it?

Probably I should start all over again and be very careful with deleting objects or groups  .
