Possible to surface Livecode mobile app as target for Tap to Share

Hi everyone, Is it possible to surface a Livecode app within the "Tap to Share" pane, to allow user to share content from other apps to a Livecode app. For those unfamiliar with this functionality in iPhone take a look at this YouTube timepoint https://youtu.be/EyXpbEE12MY?t=88 For example, a user m...

Re: Any examples of projects deployed in HTML5?

Is this the same Rodney T from the antipodes? Really glad to see you pop in here. It's been a while. Let's Skype sometime soon and I'll give you the lowdown on LC's HTML export and you can tell me how your product has been evolving. Hi Richard, yes indeed it is the same Rodney :-) Would be nice to ...

Re: Any examples of projects deployed in HTML5?

... all I have been able to find is experiments and tests mostly from a few years ago. Before you ask for a "full demo" by others: Where are *your* constructive contributions (name them "projects" or "test" or "experiments" ...)?? Hi Herman, I am hoping to get back into professional LiveCode develo...

Any examples of projects deployed in HTML5?

Hi there, Can anyone in the forum point me to any examples of completed projects deployed in HTML5. So far all I have been able to find is experiments and tests mostly from a few years ago. I'd be interested in experiences of Livecoders who have attempted to build a project using this deploy option....

Re: Mobile Scroll vs Web Browser control

For clarity - I built and tested this on my iphone (6S plus) and found that scrolling was smoother with:
set the acceleratedRendering of this stack to true

Re: Simulator fails in LC 9 with 11.2, while 11.1 in Xcode 9.2

Hi Panos, I had exactly the same issues reported in this thread, and this solution was the KEY for me. So THANK YOU for this post. +1 from me :-) (Incidentally, I think Livecode should add some more informative messages when C++ errors are thrown during application testing, and be a little more cons...

Re: cancel browser widget navigation - possible?

There's always: on browserNavigateBegin pUrl if not (pUrl contains "DOMAIN") then do "window.stop();" in widget "X" of stack "Y" exit to top end if :-) Of course it's not really a solution as it stops all Javascript from running in the page.... But it does in fact also stop the page navigating away....

Re: cancel browser widget navigation - possible?

Andy, my guess is that on MacOSX we're using a different browser (maybe Safari?) than on windows (which my guess, is using Chromium?). That could account for different behaviour. I still do not understand why this does not work for you? The browser widget URL is set to 2108.co.uk in its properties p...

Re: cancel browser widget navigation - possible?

This technically works, but forces my single page app to reload. This ejects user from their editing session (tabs/docs open in the web app)... Any thoughts for a solution which doesn't result in my web app being reloaded? If using an URL then this works: on browserNavigateBegin pURL set URL of me t...

Re: cancel browser widget navigation - possible?

... but is not a viable option for me as I am working with a SPA (single page app) which dynamically changes content (eg as synchronous changes happen or as user scrolls window). This will certainly work. on browserNavigateBegin pURL -- you can't catch the htmltext here, this is already the new one ...

Re: cancel browser widget navigation - possible?

I suggest reading over thread http://runtime-revolution.278305.n4.nabble.com/Cancel-browser-widget-navigation-td4721826.html which sets out the issues quite well. I'm just asking for a way to be able to effectively cancel navigation away. For example, if "exit to top" within browserNavigateBegin act...

Re: cancel browser widget navigation - possible?

Thanks for the suggestion. That is the default behaviour in my web app (I am already targeting _blank on my URLs): https://86e81b25b3bd830d509e-6dcaed68ce9607bb74994a568d9fea63.ssl.cf3.rackcdn.com/2018/9/731e1d60-d702-11e8-b73e-000000000000/image.png This does not stop widget from following links (t...

Re: cancel browser widget navigation - possible?

Hi Andy, This detects navigation away but exiting to top doesn't stop the navigation (at least not for me) e.g. on browserNavigateBegin pUrl if not (pUrl contains "DOMAIN") then answer "Navigating away to:" && pURL exit to top end if ... for me this shows answer dialog once pURL is already displayed...

Re: cancel browser widget navigation - possible?

One thing I have discovered I can do is monitor the popstate event by adding a listener thus: put "window.onpopstate = function(event) {" & return &\ "liveCode.jsCallback('popstate',document.location);" & return&\ "}" into tScript ... then do tScript in widget. Once called as user navigates around c...
