Re: Working with two Displays...

Solution: In the message box:

Code: Select all

set the rect of stack "revNewScriptEditor 1" to 100,100,800,800
and the script editor is small again.

Re: Working with two Displays...

OK, disabling backdrop is working for the main display, perfect. But on the other screen I can not move the code editor (see screenshot). It is every time in full screen.

Working in Teams

Dear all,

we are working in a small Team. How do you develop software with LiveCode in Team? I learned that GIT is not working proper for version controlling. Are there any other suggestions? Or do you share Stacks etc?

Thanks
Stef

Re: Write config File

Thank you Paul & Klaus,

I think the solution with the bin file is better for me and works fine, I already tested it on my play ground. The itemdelimiter is also a good Idea (I had this in my brains also before).

Re: Memory grows and grows

I am not using timers (this was also my first Idea). To check the open sockets I am using the opensockets (..) in the message box, but all sockets are closes successful. What I find out: I have the same issue if a client connects to collect datas, the socket can be the problem. Every time the Client...

This (DATEADD) is a SQL-Server command, sure this works with SQLite?
See here: https://www.sqlite.org/lang_datefunc.html

In my MS SQL Database i have a date field:
My query is working with the lines I wrote on MS SQL Server. :-)

Re: Read / Write to SOCKET

but might you need to explicitly open a socket when you write back from the server?
maybe. In the final version the client is behind a NAT Firewall, initial TCP communication is not possible from Server to Client.
I don't use sockets,
Alternatives are welcome. :-)
