Ahhhhhh okay so the statement being False sends us to the top of the loop again rather than deleting something each time. That's what I wasn't understanding.
Thanks so much for clearing that up!!

Re: Intersect Command in Sheep Herder
But wouldn't it have to be True to continue? If button("sheep"&x) intersects with either graphic"pen" or group"groupControls" then it should erase, but this is stating that the intersection is False so shouldn't it be the other way around? Again I'm sure I'm over-analyzing but would like to get to t...

Tampa Bay Livecode Community
Is there anyone around Tampa Bay, FL looking to connect and maybe get a MeetUp going? I'm still a beginner myself but networking and having others to bounce ideas off of over drinks once a month or every could weeks would be great! Hoping the Livecode community here isn't just yours truly!

Hey all, Having troubles making sense of this to truly wrap my head around it (maybe I'm just reading too far into nothing) but if anyone could shed some light on this that would be great. In the tutorial for Sheep Herder, it has you use the intersect command to make sure that the sheep aren't overl...

Livecode Code and Syntax
Hey Everyone! So one thing that's really been getting to me is that I can't seem to find a good resource for studying and learning the actual code and syntax for Livecode. It's obviously way more simple than Python or C that I've tinkered with in the past but aside from the dictionary provided by th...

Re: Sheep Herder
I'm using the latest version of Livecode 9.11 to clarify that. Thanks for the quick response. The Select Grouped was on! So that solved that. I was able to find the Message Box pretty easily but for future reference where do I find the application browser? I don't see an option for it anywhere. Than...

Re: Simple CTRL key question.
Wow, very fast response times I'm sorry I didn't do the same! I left town and honestly this is the first forum I've contacted for anything and actually expected it to take days for a response! I'm still trying to figure out Sheep Herder. I made another post for it so refer to that if need be but cur...

Sheep Herder
So I'm back in town and trying to work out the Sheep Herder tutorial. Challenges here are definitely that the guide is using an older version of Livecode so it looks different and the guide does not explain exactly what controls he's using to accomplish certain things. I'm currently struggling to fi...

Simple CTRL key question.
Hey everyone, I'm just getting started with Livecode and have limited coding background. I am going through the videos for the Sheep Herding game tutorial and while creating the command keys in the bottom bar I'm struggling to do two simple things that I'm pretty sure are just CTRL key commands that...
