My distro is in the thread title (Debian Jessie) but I forgot to mention I'm using the 64 bit version.
LiveCode version is 8, freshly downloaded today.

Hello everyone. I just downloaded LC 8 and installed, everything went fine. As I open it, I choose to attend the interactive tour, but it won't display any text or nothing. I then tried to create a new Stack, but as I try adding whatever widget to the window, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? ...
