Re: Speedy LiveCode

I took your code, and put it into a little stack for testing, starting with Mc 2.5 starter kit :D livecodeide_speedtester_McStarterKit25.zip This box is running LMDE2 18.1, 4 gigs ram, and a 3 core amd cpu. All of the tests were run with the following system resources left before opening the various...

Re: On/Off auto-type in preferences

Well, I think you must have something else going on there, pderocco. To get as close as I can to your description, this is a fresh install of Win7 + Lc 9.0.1 stable. The first screen shot shows the preferences set, the second shows whats disabled in the editor window menu as well. I again could not ...

Re: Problems running with HTML5/Problemas al ejecutar con HTML5

Hello Jorge,
Which version of Lc / OS are you using?

Just to be clear, you are opening the html file in that folder with a web browser, right? Other than that, I know it takes a while for it to start.

Re: On/Off auto-type in preferences

*Edit - might help to know which os / vers. your seeing this behavior in too. *Edit 2 - is this your setup (found in the bug triage section) 9.0.1 on Windows 7 x64 On 'nix in v8.1.2 (latest I can run on this particular box) I wasn't able to duplicate your issue with auto-formatting off. Since you n...

Hm, looks like noone is actually interested in "a" solution.
Actually interested in both "a" and "the", but haven't freed up time to even look into it in depth yet :?

Re: On/Off auto-type in preferences

Aside from all those methods, you can also just drag the highlighted part of the script anywhere to move it while inside the script editor itself.

I get the feeling I must be missing something from the description of the problem :(

Re: On/Off auto-type in preferences

Doesn't anyone else do this? I can't believe that everyone doesn't have a problem with this, unless there's some hidden option that everyone else has set differently from me. I don't know, from what your describing, when I see the incorrect formatting, I just hit the tab key after a paste and that ...

Re: Charset and collation MariaDB with LiveCode

I guess I do not explain myself well. I would say it is just as possible that I didn't understand it well :) The main part I was reading was - Personally I think the topic of connection to databases should be easier, ... and I didn't connect it to - for which we have a language that uses accent and...

Re: Alternative to PUT value INTO variable

I wouldn't expect to see this ever, as the convention your using is closer to using a language other than an xcode language as has been pointed out earlier. Aside from that, though, I can't even begin to picture the train-wrecks that would happen to you bringing past code up the ladder to newer IDEs...

I agree. I'm not sure why they changed this behavior, pre-8.xx they seemed to work how I would expect them too.
