Re: Sound generation

I agree with Richmond that it would be nice (as I've said before) to have sound abilities built into the language that do not depend on some specific platform item (quicktime, xanim, etc), so I really hope the company looks into bringing this feature to the language. Having said that, and not wantin...

Re: Text Entry field Cursor

Heya Ross.

There must be more to the story, I set up a plain text field, pasted your question into it, and then clicked in / out of the field. Whenever I clicked in the field, the cursor was placed at the mouse location, so that does seem to be the default behavior.

Wow. I feel like a complete NOOB.
Exhilarating isn't it? I feel that way every 3rd or 4th time I start a project... :D

if the "destroystack" and "destroywindow" of the stack is set to TREU, then this should not happen.
Guess this answers the question of whether or not it is difficult to spell short words, like 'Klaus', which is far more difficult than 'TRUE'

Hi ayumu :D
I don't know that your previous post was in the wrong place, but even if it were, it wouldn't stop it from getting answers.

I can't answer your question because I don't know anything about it, however the goal seems a good one. Hopefully someone will chime in with more knowledge than I.

Re: Display of Errors in LC 9 IDE

That is odd. I myself don't use the later Lc versions with any consistency, but I know plenty of others do. Maybe they all run with the PB open?

Re: Missing original project files...

Is it even remotely possible to pull some of the work that we've already finished from an extracted exe file (i.e. the .project, .rdata, .data, etc) or are we completely hosed to the point of having to start over from scratch? I can't answer the first question, but I suspect the answer to it would ...

Re: Image Upload

Erm, I would say that yes, imageData is the reference that (probably) is universal, *but* that doesn't necessarily imply it is ... easily transferrable, I guess. I recently went through a similar problem, one language I use created images suitable for storing and retrieving easily from a db, regardl...

Re: Expired licence

I would suspect it depends on the version of Lc, beyond a certain age limit the license was non-expiring. If they are all the same versions, then I'm out of guesses

Ok, was finally able to fire up the dev stuff, I was kinda right (0 does not work, 1 certainly does).

@Craig - That was interesting to find out, I didn't know it.

@Simon - The dictionary has a lot more interesting info in properties/tabstops.

Re: SDK not found on MacOS

I believe giving yourself access is no more difficult that right clicking it in finder, and choosing get info. At the bottom you'll see the permissions section, where you can give yourself permissions to the folder. Disclaimer - I am not a regular mac user, so I might be completely off as to what is...
