Re: Private Messages on this Forum

Hi I have written a private message and it shows up in my outbox but is not delivered. How do I get it delivered? Tom As you might have guessed, judging by this post of yours - The person I sent the PM to might not be active on this forum any longer. - the message will remain in your outbox until t...

Re: Main stack wont show?!

Ah, I don't (generally) use KDE since it left the 'trinity' style representations (around KDE 3.X), I'll have to setup a test machine with that DM to see if there are more exceptional issues.

Re: Main stack wont show?!

@Richmond - that has been the behavior since v3 (at least) till current. Dunno how you could miss what is already there :D @Mark - Seems like there should be some kind of indicator of what tool is currently selected, otherwise you'll accidentally just end up with buttons everywhere you touch. There ...

Re: Main stack wont show?!

Heh heh, Mark, we are definitely talking about 2 (or maybe 3) completely different things :D Maybe this will help clarify what I was talking about. As far as Mc's (completely different topic) control drawing goes, I like that too, and I absolutely like the way you implemented it in PowerTools. I've ...

Re: Main stack wont show?!

I can't begin to imagine either a.) trying to prove some virtue in running old software or b.) working in Windows, as you well know, I work in various Unices, not Windows unless I have to test something on that platform <shuddering>

Re: Main stack wont show?!

Putting up screenshots of version 1.1 (vintage about 2000) seems churlish as the situation re the IDE has changed "a bit" since then. Now what on earth could I be trying to prove? Heh, it really was what I had open at the time. The menu has changed a little, but not much, at least up to that point....

Re: mobile player control with hidden controls

Sorry then, I'm out of ideas. We'll have to wait for someone that actually programs for mobile to show up and clue us in

Re: mobile player control with hidden controls

Ah I see. I still should have taken the time to be more specific, we sure don't want to add confusion. Thanks for the catch :)

Re: mobile player control with hidden controls

I should have been more specific heh. I meant that if you lock a field, and turn its transversal off, you can treat it like a button in the mouseUp handler. If it isn't locked, and/or the transversal is set to true, it swallows mouseUp to be only in terms of things you can do in a field, i.e. get th...

Re: mobile player control with hidden controls

Well, I'm not positive on mobile, but doesn't it respond like the desktop does, where you can mouseUp on anything that isn't an unlocked field?

Ever so slightly retro. 8)
More than that, it is v1.1!

Despite all the other changes, that part hasn't changed since that version, and it is what I had open at the time the question rolled in :P

My apologies to Starpat if it threw you off

Re: Latency on playing sounds to external bluetooth speaker

After I wrote the last post, I realized I can't test my theory for your problem because I have no way to set up an environment to do so, i.e. Mac osx and iOs. Sorry for that.

Re: Main stack wont show?!

My last post was a tad premature. Recent stacks is actually triggered by opening a stack, not from saving a stack  ksnip_recent files.png Open Lc, then go to open stack (any of the ones you have saved). ksnip_recent files2.png Once the stack is open, exit Lc, then restart it. Now if you go to ...

Re: Main stack wont show?!

'Recent files' are only going to show files that you have actually saved somewhere. Did you save any of the projects you started?

Re: Latency on playing sounds to external bluetooth speaker

If you start an already "playing" player a second time, nothing will happen at all. No, I was actually thinking that the player would start a sound of almost no time either at the beginning of a handler or in the referring handler which would certainly be cut off at the speaker but which would acti...
