Thanks, I'm using a Mac. As luck would have it, it's no longer doing it. I think it has something to do with autoComplete but I'll follow up if it reappears.

Hi. I've just upgrade to LC 9 and I've grown accustomed to issuing commands from the message box. I'm presently tangling with how the message box automatically puts a "put" before the cursor, like expecting me to request a function or a value. How can I stop the message box from doing this automatic...

Oops, my bad. Previously, I had called a separate handler that created a field to put the data into. Your response made me think twice, and when I put it straight into the field without the createField handler it was instantaneous. What's in the arguments p1, p2, and p3, and why are they being passed to theLibraryScripts but not used there? Also, how did you measure the time? Could it be that some of that may be taking place outside of these two handlers, in the handlers that call them? The params p1,p2, and p3 are just place...
