Re: Tree type structure in a datagrid
Looks like I'll be able to do what I want by modifying the 'LayoutControl' of the behaviour script and adding some 'dummy' records into the data when changing section.

Tree type structure in a datagrid
I'm trying to create a tree type structure within a datagrid similar to image 5 in http://lessons.livecode.com/m/datagrid/l/7302-can-you-show-me-some-examples , but am at a loss where to start. The example suggests that you can split a datagrid into sections which can be expanded/collapsed by tickin...

letsencrypt and livecode hosting
It says at https://livecode.com/hosting/pricing/ that letsencrypt is available as a free option on livecode hosting.
I've raised 2 support requests asking how I can get this set up, but have never received a reply. Has anybody using livecode hosting managed to get letsencrypt set up for them?

Re: Continued problems with Cloud and Database Academy
Klaus,
That is good advice.
I'll try to put something in writing to support.

Continued problems with Cloud and Database Academy
Having resolved the problem with 'theme' now being a reserved word I'm now hitting another dead end with the academy demo/example files. If I try to delete a record in the 'Inventory Management' example nothing changes. I've added a debug and it would appear that there is a problem on the server sid...

Re: Problem with mobile template in start centre
Have modified the scripts to use 'colortheme' instead of 'theme' and all now appears to be behaving.

Re: Problem with mobile template in start centre
Panos, Thanks. That makes sense. I suppose the best option is to rename the custom properties to something other than 'theme'. That way one can keep the functionality without clashing with Livecode reserved words. It would appear that the livecode academy lessons need a refresh to overcome this and ...

Problem with mobile template in start centre
I'm having a problem when I open the mobiletemplate.livecode file which is located in the start center directory under sample 3. The script for card "template" includes the following code at line 3: set the theme of this stack to "green" which is throwing an error message: card "template": execution...

Re: Broken links on livecode hosting page
Heather,
According to my browser history the 'Livecode Hosting' link at the top of http://livecode.com/account/products/livecode took me to the old page. This now appears to be working so it may be I had a cached copy.
Just tested the cpanel link to see if that's been fixed.

Re: No response to help requests
Looks like the 'contact us' via cpanel isn't working, but I've tried via https://livecode.com/hosting/support/ which was in my welcome email.

Broken links on livecode hosting page
Have been trying to work out how to get some help re: my hosting account and have tried from this page http://livecode.com/account/products/hosting , but the 'contact us' link takes me to https://livecode.com/contact-us-v1/ which appears to be a template. This is not an urgent issue, but it would be...

No response to help requests
Have made 3 attempts to get help via the cpanel 'contact us' form and not received a response. I get the impression that the resulting emails are going to an unmonitored address.

Re: lineoffset not playing nicely with 'null' entry
Looks like this was a case of LiveCode doing odd things after being open a few days. I've since rebooted my PC and there no longer appears to be a problem with a null entry in the array. Thanks to all for your input. As an aside, I also had 4 fields in a datagrid that I could not edit the values of....

lineoffset not playing nicely with 'null' entry
I'm trying to use lineoffset to return the correct line from a variable, but if the first entry is 'null' I'm unable to match to the second entry no matter what it contains. All other entries behave as expected. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? Sample variable below (quotes added to highlig...
