Hi,
I suppose a possible solution is to have an empty Excel file and fill it out.

Re: "Select distinct" in a LiveCode variable or field
Hi, I understand that "write to file" is for an existing file, the difference is that FileMaker creates it for you. There are clients that need an Excel file because their administrative manager asks for it, and they do not have the application. I do not have it installed either and if I need to ope...

Re: "Select distinct" in a LiveCode variable or field
Hi Craig, In principle I will do with SQL, since the data is in a database, is related to the subject of the post https://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=31904 . Now I am in the process of seeing how I can reproduce what I do in FileMaker in LiveCode and every day I learn new things. In an a...

"Select distinct" in a LiveCode variable or field
Hi all, There is a query in SQL that returns me the expenses of a series of properties and places it in a variable, it can be a field if it goes better. Is it possible to obtain a single name of each property and the number of records of each one, of this variable or field? With the name it would be...

How to create a new label field programmatically?
Hi all, I found a response from dunbarx on a mailing list, but it gives me an error: Set up the templateField as a label field Error description: set: no property specified I have also looked at the Scripting Conference "Controls" of Klaus Major and I do not have it completely clear if it is necessa...

Re: Report in LiveCode
Hi Richard, I guess jacque refers to this post https://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=31898&start=15 In principle, the beginning of the post was another topic and it gets a bit confusing if you look for print report. Now I am in the testing phase with hide and show part of the groups. There...

Re: Standalone with SQLite and Mac
Hi jacque,
It's what I had thought, create a substack with the measurements of an A4 portrait. Create a series of groups that were visible or not depending on whether it is a record, is the total of the property or the grand total.
Thanks for the advice
Carles

Re: Report in LiveCode
Hi Craig, The types that can be exported and imported are: csv, dbf, fmp12, htm (export only), mer, xlsx, tab or txt, xml. But as Klaus says this is not the issue. What I try to find out if I can leave FileMaker and replace it with LiveCode, which I start to doubt. But I need everything I do with Fi...

Re: Standalone with SQLite and Mac
Hi bogs, They are not tabs are labels. When you create a layout (card) in FM it creates by default a header, a body and a footer, you can add other parts. They are part of the same layout. The Quartam Reports page is not updated since 2013. It talks about the next 2.0 version, 5 years have passed an...

[SOLVED]Re: Standalone with SQLite and Mac
As Herr Doktor Klaus told me :D There is something incompatible with the creation of the SQLite standalode, not with ODBC, on my Mac. I started from an external disk, with the same operating system but different programs, and it worked. Now I have the problem with the reports that have to be passed ...
