Re: Barcode scanner recommendations?

If you want something that takes up less space, I can recommend using a mobile phone instead of a laptop, together with Bluetooth ring scanners.

Re: Is livecode dead?

Just a quick look at Xojo (which might be a bigger player - I don't know); - Very active social media (too many posts in August to count, both on Twitter/Facebook) - 4 blog posts in August alone - Currently running #JustCode weekly Challenge (with some prizes) It wouldn't require that much at all (I...

Re: Is livecode dead?

Just some observations this year; - Only 3 blog posts. - Last post on Facebook from May 23rd. - Have anyone heard about the results of the competition that was held earlier this year? - Last "Announcement" from LC here in the forum - nothing this year (last was in October last year). On the positive...

Re: "Save as Standalone App..." error containing revCreateMobilePlist

Aaah great, thanks a lot!

I thought it somehow was related to revCreateMobilePlist, and not too many things showed up when I googled it (only 1). :D

Have a great day!

"Save as Standalone App..." error containing revCreateMobilePlist

I'm running LiveCode 9 on Mac 10.12.6 with XCode 9.2. I'm trying to "Save as Standalone Application" for iOS. I guess this error (attached) is somehow related to plist. I restarted LC, I restarted my laptop, I haven't made (what I can remember) any changes to the Info.plist in "Show Package Contents...

Re: Simulator fails in LC 9 with 11.2, while 11.1 in Xcode 9.2

I tried with only Xcode 9.2 first, without luck. And then I added Xcode 8.2.1.

I’ll try again when I’m back at my laptop.

Thanks,
Tom

Simulator fails in LC 9 with 11.2, while 11.1 in Xcode 9.2

I just a few days ago installed LC 9 stable and Xcode 9.2. In Xcode I downloaded iOS simulator 11.1, while according to LiveCode "Mobile Support" and "Test Target" I have even 11.2 available... https://pilotmagazinet.se/ios11.2-ios11.1.png So whenever I Test run an application, the simulator fails t...

Re: GPS bad accuracy

My findings regarding accuracy so far with my iPhone 6; #1 Bluetooth Dual XGPS150 connected to my iPhone - works great. The screen can dim - no problem in accuracy. #2 My location app is open and the screen is ON the whole time (I tap it not to get dark) - works well. #3 My location app is open and ...

Re: Is livecode dead?

I started to use LiveCode earlier this year. I like it a lot. I like and appreciate that there are RC, DP releases of LC. But still, I feel that the lack of communication from LC... there is a lot of room for improvement there. Things I have in mind just now is - Already mentioned - The blog... upda...

Re: Hide the datagrid borders

LC 8.1.3 and the datagrid is not in another group - just alone at the moment. I will probably need to put it in a group because I will need to scroll it eventually. Can that help maybe?

Re: Hide the datagrid borders

quailcreek, "Show border" is not checked and "Border width" is 0, if that's what you meant?

Re: Fit backgroundPattern image to a smaller stack

I tried a little bit back and forth and eventually I got it to work with Klaus method, but in the preOpenCard. That's also a suggestion jacque, thanks. I'll have that in mind. I was thinking that might be a solution to a problem I just posted now about the datagrid borders, but I think not. Thanks f...

Hide the datagrid borders

It seems like I can't hide the borders of the datagrid. I tried to set everything I can find to white but they are still visible as long as it is "in focus" on mobile. If I make something else focus - they disappear. But how can I make them invisible?

Thanks,
Tom
