Re: Problems printing a field copied from a datagrid [SOLVED
Hi! Seems to me this bug is not fixed yet! I see how long ago this message has been posted. I have developed an app on OS X 10.11.6 but now I adjust it to Windows 10. Everything is more or less ok, but a few forms which are using the "Basic Table Field" look like on the picture of this post. The fie...

Re: Stand Alone application doesn't save changes made in the
Thanks to both of you, Dave and SparkOut!!! "Splash stack" now works. External file also works very well. There is no complete clear picture for me yet about Stand Alone, I need to read much more information, to get more experiences. Generally, it's a studying process for me. Thank you guys, I belie...

Re: Stand Alone application doesn't save changes made in the
Ok, thanks a lot for explanation. It seems, I did as you said and as the tutorial explains. I have bundled the launcher and the working files, as you've suggested. The launcher does open the working file, but... the DataGrid doesn't work any more: no scrolling, no editing, nothing... Definitely, I d...

Re: Stand Alone application doesn't save changes made in the
Thank you very much, Simon! Everything is very clear, and, yes, I understand the reason why apps don't store input within... I was thinking about using an external file for this particular app. For more serious application I would use a DB. "Launcher" means that a user has to have installed LiveCode...

Stand Alone application doesn't save changes made in the Dat
Hi, sorry, if I post my question not in exact section: I found it very complicated to search in the forums here; and, it seems, I have a limited permission for posting. I made a very simple app for a desktop, where one DataGrid contains the search list, which can be modified. When I do changes of th...

Length of the Indexes in LiveCode IDE
Hi, I found that in certain situations is more convinient to create and then to delete fields or buttons from vithin the script any time when, for instance, the number of lines, to which you have to show controll buttons are different. It works perfect and easy, but I start to think, how long the pr...
