Re: test app on phisical device

I'm guessing gepponline. But as it says it does not like the folder your pointing to, then perhaps your pointing to the wrong folder, or it needs installing elsewhere. My own Windows 7 (64 bit) PC installation which works is in C:/Program files (x86)/Android/android-sdk However, there are many frien...

Re: test app on phisical device

Hello gepponlone,

I have Windows 7 and after following this YouTube 'How to' link I was able to use both the Emulator and device with no problem.

Re: App not running on Samsung 2.2 Froyo

Thank you Jacqueline.

The only versions to compile with are 2.3 - Gingerbread and 2.3.3 and so I did both for the chap, but both after tapping the icon gave him the same black screen and reverted back to the app selection on his mobile.

Kind regards,

Ruth

App not running on Samsung 2.2 Froyo

I now have nearly 200 Android installs of my first time ever LC 7.0.1 Community app creation. Those who have apps on Google Play will know one gets a detailed analysis of the devices it's installed on and I have just one installed on an Android 2.2 and it was this person who informed me that whilst ...

Re: Standalone Application Settings for Header

Hello Simon,

In the cold light of day and feeling a fool I did not realise the publicly known original CMD android password was being asked for again. So in theory I have an app with a private key to upload onto Google Play.

Re: Standalone Application Settings for Header

Oh my, Oh my I'm still not there. I can't Save as Standalone Application because I get an error and whilst I was convinced I had entered the correct password and as it failed each time I ran the 'Save as Standalone Application ' I deleted the release.keystore and created another one ( just as before...

Re: Standalone Application Settings for Header

Thank you Simon and Jacqueline. Put the flags out, as at last I now have my release.keystore file. After trawling Google for what seemed like hours I found someone with the same problem as me and the advice was to keep doing it continuously, but change the Alias name and so this I did and after a gr...

Re: Standalone Application Settings for Header

Still the same problem in it closing after the last password entered. Presumably I'm doing this correct. After answering: password password first last name org unit org name city state 2 letter country code and at the question: Enter key password for <mynameused> <RETURN if same as keystore password...

Re: Standalone Application Settings for Header

Yes the command window closes when I have re-entered my password for the TicTacToe replacement.

Search finds no release.keystore

Did try changing release.keystore release to other word but without success.
