Re: "Your app must provide a minimum OS version..."

I only tested on local devices and never to to the Apples soter. But did you create a Provisioning Profile in Xcode? for your project? This Provisioning Profile you then have to select when creating the standalone build. http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4069/l/1009412-how-to-create-a-free-ios-developme...

Re: OpenStack not runnning

Also check the card script - the openStack (and other) messages follow the message path through the script of card 1 before the stack script. (It is common to put openStack or preOpenStack etc handlers in card 1 script to avoid substacks without openStack handlers from triggering the mainstack hand...

Re: What is the opposite of launch?

I use something for Windows too, if i have time tonight and remember this thread i can post it here.
The working is similair to that of MacOs by calling the shell.

Even for Linux this is possible.

Re: Bug Found- Dim light on launch (Video Link included)

Hi Louis, no sorry i have no substack for mobile. But since my stacks are not that big i use the first card as splash and then move to the second card. Mostly i do the development on win10-64bits. But since i have a triple boot, i can do Linux(Ubuntu Mate) and MacOs Mojave too. I use Java JDK_1.8.0_...

Re: Bug Found- Dim light on launch (Video Link included)

I have some apps on android, and with an octa-core it is with every app less than a second. And the APK is approx 15MB. On my older Wiko Android 6, el cheapo phone quad-core, it maybe was a second. So i can't say that i find it long or annoying. Nor do i see the longer issue you have. I also don't s...

Re: Data Grid Columns

I see this in all versions of LC as of LC7.
So it's not a new thing. Yes it involves some more clicking and sometimes re-entering the clomn name.

But...you could also do this programmatically when openeing the card where the DG is located, it then works flawless.

I'm curious too: the link in this sententence does not workon the page you've mentioned: Learn more about using LiveCode HTML5 in the extensive documentation, here. When i click on DOCS in the top menu bar i go to a Welcome to Livecode page and no docs. found this: https://livecode.com/docs/9-0-4/de...

Re: Bug Found- Dim light on launch (Video Link included)

i had to hold my laptop upside-down, i did not know exactly first what you meant. I see it too with my stacks, but i've never seen that as a bug. Ever tried to open Linkedin on a lower spec phone? It is most terrible. I guess it's not made with LC. There are more apps (not LC) who are slow, so it's ...

Re: Issue while filtering a received string

you could set the itemdelimiter to "/"

put item 1 of line tLine into a variable
if the variable is "SCORE"
put item 2 of line tLine into another variable (which is the rest of your line)

Re: Pasteurized Arrowkeys

Oh man, i can remember the days (& nights) when i had my first MSX, typing over those listings in MSX-magazines, learning myself to type. MicroSoft Basic...and then euh where is the R, and euh where is the U and then after 2 minutes ah i found the N. Just great! Then i had the great idea to steer my...

Re: No way to edit a script !

Only thing i notice is, and i've seen it in every LC version where the Browser Widget is available, that when i go thru the cards of a stack using either ctrl+3 or ctrl+2 and the card has a browser widget on it, i first have to save the stack via the file menu before it gets responsive again on keys...
