Re: Can't upload to Apple Store: ERROR ITMS-90179

Thanks Jacque, it makes complete sense that already published app should not be impacted.

Regards.

Re: Can't upload to Apple Store: ERROR ITMS-90179

Thanks Jean-Marc, after all it was me using the wrong distribution Profile...(shame on me)

Anyway it would be interested to know what are the consequences of deleting a provisioning profile used by an app that is already published...

Can't upload to Apple Store: ERROR ITMS-90179

Hi guys, I'm getting the following error when trying to upload a new version of my APP to the Apple store. ERROR ITMS-90179: "Invalid Code Signing. The executable 'XXXXXXXXX' must be signed with the certificate that is contained in the provisioning profile." The newness of this version is to support...

Apple Keys instead of Certificates

Hi fellow Developers, according to the following text (from the Keys page on the Apple Developer site): Creating a key allows you to configure, authenticate, and use one or more Apple services for that key. Unlike certificates, keys do not expire and can be modified to access more services after the...

Hi sphere, yes I agree with you, but after more than a week hitting my head into the wall, now that it works I will let it be without any further discussions...

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

Just to close the thread as it may be helpful for future readers, the whole problem was related with the use of the answer command as explained by Panos in the following post

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

HI sphere, thank you for sharing your standalone settings. Here are mine: ss2.jpg The main differences I see are: You are using LC 9.0.5 (I've tried and made no difference) Your minimum Android Version is 7.1 while mine is 6.0 (that's the device I have available) I'm not using a key to sign I'm load...

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

So @sphere, when running the following stack the answer command returns empty but I would assume this is correct since calling pushNotificationRegistered without the "pMessage" argument should in fact return empty... on pushNotificationRegistered pMessage answer pMessage end pushNotificationRegister...

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

Hi sphere, remarks below What if: --you first save the token to a variable or a txt file and revemail it with another handler? I'm afraid I'm not making myself clear (english is not my mother tongue)... The problem is neither where to save the token nor how to handle it, the problem is that I can't ...

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

Hi sphere I found the original bug report ( https://quality.livecode.com/show_bug.cgi?id=21259 ) on the subject and decided to ask to reopen it because in my view LC 9.0.4 is definitely not behaving as it should. Once again, as I see it, a simple stack as the one below should be able to register wit...

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

Hi sphere, many thanks for your patience and your willingness to help. At this point I'm not taking into account the "txt" file as I'm not actually being able to send any notification until I get the device to register. So I'm only using the two lines to insert the script as the very first two lines...

Re: ITMS-90163 Invalid Code Signing Entitlements

Hi I guess this is related to the Internal App ID not matching the Profile in the iOS standalone settings. This could be because for instance your Profile is for development and you are trying to upload to deploy on the App Store. I'd suggest you double check both fields to be coherent. Hope it help...

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

Hi sphere, no joy yet... I'm confused as where exactly do you add this code: insert the script of button "pnt" into front wait 1 second with messages I have tried 4 options: 1 - on the main preOpenStack 2 - on the main openStack 3 - on openStack of the card where button "pnt" is located 4 - on openC...

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

Thanks again sphere: ...on one app which works OK with FCM i have the pushregister stuff in a hidden button"pnt" on the first card which i use as a splash... I guess this is it, that will somehow explain why it works if I have nothing inside on openStack This returned fcm string... I'm assuming you ...

Re: Firebase notifications "tied" to one App

Found the problem, now I need help to find the solution!
