Re: Community widgets

I can't get Icon Grid to install on 9 DP-9.

Actually, when I choose to install all of the widgets, icon grid and svg text don't get installed. (The other 4 get installed)

Daybed 2.0 - A Library for Apache CouchDB

Apache has released CouchDB 2.1 and Daybed is still compatible. The library is available at: https://github.com/madpink/couchdb4livecode This has been a big week for me... I had my talk about CouchDB for Livecode Global (that was fun) I was interviewed for the CouchDB blog where I did my best to plu...

Re: Error building standalone after updating to XCode 8

Does this mean we will no longer be able to compile for 5.1.1? (I utilize a number of the original iPads for work)

Re: SVG Icon - Quick hack

thanks James, I haven't started playing with 8.0.1, I'll give it a try later

I am wondering if the svg will fail if it does not end in a "z", just speculating on what might be wrong in the new version

Re: SVG Icon - Quick hack

I liked James' enhancements so I used his stack, and added the following features: 1. Settings and libraries are now saved in an invisible data stack that is saved in a folder relative to the main stack. (I keep my plugins in a Dropbox folder, so I needed to make it relative for my own use.) I inten...

Re: SVG Icon - Quick hack

Attached is a stack I've been using to keep all my SVG data together. On the import card you can create new libraries and import batches of SVG files into them. On the main page you can browse the libraries as well as the "Built-in" icons that are included in Livecode. The SVG path data are saved in...

Re: POST error with JSON data

The frustrating part is that this is the third thing this year that I've posted on the forums that turned out to be one single missing character, the others. being a missing "s" and a missing carriage return.

Re: SVG Icon - Quick hack

does anyone know if it is possible to set custom SVG paths on the new Navigation Bar or Segmented Control? I'm guessing not yet, but thought I'd check if anyone had done it

I believe that Rotating SVG, and SVG Icon are the only ones that can use custom paths

Re: POST error with JSON data

stupid me, I tried part of your code, but not all of it... I used my own headers, and therein seemed to be the problem I was using "Content-Type:application/json" you used: "Content-Type: application/json" and that space made all the difference, which I find odd for three reasons: 1. the header in t...
