Re: Screen Flash and Visual Effect

I posted a new bug for this and Hanson has confirmed and logged it. The bug number is 15734.

There does seem to be a eerie echo in here doesn't there.

Re: Screen Flash and Visual Effect

This is still happening. About 20% of the time when using a visual effect it flashes. Is this getting any attention? Does it need to be logged as a bug in order to get attention?

Thanks.

Re: Screen Flash and Visual Effect

Any news on this? I see that with 6.7.1 (rc 4) it's still flashing.

Re: Screen Flash and Visual Effect

I'm still getting flashing in Yosemite using 6.7.1 (rc 1) when doing show/hide with visual effects on images and groups. I thought that changing the stack background color to a dark grey (to match the general color of the elements I'm swapping) but to no avail - still flashes white. By the way - thi...

Re: MCNotifyPing and s_notify_sent

I'm having trouble with code being called from the card script to the stack script (and visa versa) on Yosemite (I didn't seem to have this problem on Mavericks). Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It seems that it's more likely to work the first time I call it but not the second time. Is ...

Re: Posting <file> using libURLMultipartFormData - timeout?

Yeah, that's what I've been doing so I can hover over the tURLContent variable to see what value is - and it's been empty.

Re: Posting <file> using libURLMultipartFormData - timeout?

Thanks but that doesn't appear to be the solution. According to the dictionary the default for socketTimeoutInterval is 10 seconds. I tried doubling that to 20 seconds - but with my last test the upload finished/bailed out at 1 minute. It could be that it isn't timing out at all - I just don't know,...

Posting <file> using libURLMultipartFormData - timeout?

I'm using the libURLMultipartFormData function to post a bunch of data to a webservice. I pass a bunch of parameter pairs (name part, name value) with one of them being a file I'm uploading (a zip) that is predicated with the required text: <file>. Everything works great with smaller files (seems li...

Re: Download not working with link or libURLDownloadToFile

Simon - thanks for the ideas and code snippet. I'll have to take some time to look up some of what you're suggesting using the LC dictionary to see if can follow what your saying. I think I am providing a proper path and URL in my code - but maybe not.

That variable is a global and is filled with the URL earlier in another function in my script. I apologize that the code I pasted here is not fully self contained - I realize that makes it difficult to follow what I'm saying.

Re: Download not working with link or libURLDownloadToFile

Bug submitted. Is there anyone out there who is finding success doing downloads of a .zip file from the revBrowser on a Mac?

Re: Download not working with link or libURLDownloadToFile

Thanks for the quick responses - first to you BvG: [well - there was another response here but now it's gone - so just responding to BvG] Yeah, I only added the function that utilizes the browserDownloadRequest message because downloads weren't working. That function first started as just the notifi...

Download not working with link or libURLDownloadToFile

I can't get files to download from my browser app. I'm using revBrowser and its working great to host web pages in my LC project - but when I click on a download link on the page nothing happens. The files download fine when using Safari or Firefox, but inside LC no. I added a function that uses the...

Re: Video play on retina MacBook over-scaled

Well, this appears to be the solution. If usePixelScaling is set to false videos appear to play fine on a retina display. However, other elements are more pixelated and don't render for retina (text in controls and buttons for example). But I find that if I just use the command "set the usePixelScal...

Re: Video play on retina MacBook over-scaled

Thanks Chris and Klaus. The pixelscale reports back as just being 1. I can't seem to find the release notes you're referring to. Do you know where I could locate them? Chris, I tried checking the "Lock size and position" box in the "Size & Position" section of the Property Inspector palette. It had ...
