Jacque, Each line starts with 3 things Shape, Grade and Thicknes, what I really want is to take 1 list and turn it into however many lists needed based on how many different combinations of Shape, Grade and Thicknes. if I have a list of 10 lines and there are 3 combinations of Shape, Grade and Thick...

no, you aren't missing it, and I was just using the switch as a way to show what I was trying to get as a result. I guess my real problem is how to create tData(var) and then call them again later.

I am having a hard time figuring out how to sort and comment on data. The data comes in with a variable number of lines. Installed 9.0.2 just to check. Outlook throws the same error.

Backup plan will work fine, Ill just create a distribution list email address :)

I am running windows 7 with office 365 x64, and I'm running LC 8.1.9 upgrading LC might fix it but it breaks my application. the error message i get from outlook is "The command line argument is not valid. Verify the switch you are using."

Thank you for helping, unfortunately that causes the second email address to move down to CC address and If I add a 3rd email address that way it moves that down to the subject line.

mouseUp3 -lets me save but doesn't work
mouseUp 3 - gives Not a valid parameter name message

I don't understand what the syntax is supposed to look like and the dictionary doesn't have an example for me to steal.

I tried that but it didn't work, I was able to open the project browser and the stack had visible unchecked. I'm back in business now.

Broken file

When I try to open my stack it launches livecode but then it doesn't let me see my stack. If I try to open a backup it tells me that a stack with that name is already open. so I think its open I just cant see it. is there a way to fix this or am I screwed? I had a similar problem a few years ago and...

Thank you, I will give that a shot. Also if anyone feels that this would be a useful tool Its very simple and took only a few hours to write back when I had no clue as to what I was doing with livecode, but I am more than wiling to share it with anyone so that you don't have to.
