Re: Xcode 7.2 - can't build

All,

I am in the same predicament: my LC 7.1.0 fails to build under Xcode 7.2. What can I do in the meantime? How can I go back to my previous Xcode 6.4 ? Do I have to wait until LC works with the new Xcode 7.2? Any suggestions, I would appreciate them.
Thanks,

App not showing on iPad

Hello all, The app is tested successfully on the Simulator. I tried to use iTunes Connect - TestFlight to import it on my iPad. I dont know why they made TestFlight Beta setup so difficult, I give up and switch to purchase AirLaunch and in one, two, three steps I have the app installed on my iPad. But...

Re: Using Sqlite - Revdberr, invalid database type

Hi Dave, By the time it is now in London, you are in deep sleep. I am here in New Jersey, celebrating because of you. My app is working perfectly well in the Simulator. Like you said, it was the LC version 7.1.0 (dp1), the culprit. I downloaded LC 7.1.0 (rc1) and no more "revdberr, invalid database ...

Re: Using Sqlite - Revdberr, invalid database type

Hi Simon, My app is an iOS app. It is like the Jeopardy game. I created the game front-end and the database is created and populated with questions and answers by a different app. On the desktop, I can play the game, select the subject and answer the questions. On the mobile, I expect the already po...

Re: Using Sqlite - Revdberr, invalid database type

Hi Simon, My app is an iOS app, it is not an Android. Still, in the standalone setting, Sqlite is ticked and in the Script Librairies list, I select Database and Table . Can you tell me where is the database file supposed to be? I just copied it in /Users/myname/Documents because I see that is also ...

Re: Using Sqlite - Revdberr, invalid database type

All, I think that my problem comes from my lack of understanding in how the database file is included in the app bundle. For my case, the database file is here, on my hard drive: /users/myname/documents/All About Livecode/MyApp/MyAppDB.sqlite. I understand that I need to include the database file in...

Re: what is the path for iOS 8.0 sdk with OS X Yosemite?

Hi Klaus, I am using Livecode 7.0.1. My MacBook has OS X 10.10.2 Yosemite and the Xcode version is 6.4. I cannot locate the IOS 8.4 SDK that comes with the Xcode 6.4. Where do I have to look for it? Which Livecode version works with OS X Yosemite and Xcode 6.4? And again where i will find the iOS 8....

Hangs upon clicking Save as Standalone Application

I am running OSX 10.9.5 - Xcode 6.0.1 - Livecode 6.6.4 (stable version). Under Preferences, my Xcode has 2 components iOS 7.1 Sim and iOS 7.0 Simulation. In the Standalone Application Settings, I check out Build for iOS - iPad - Sim 7.1 or later. My problem is whenever I click on Save as Standalone ...

Re: Standalone app and iOS 8

Dave, My problem started after I installed xCode 6.0.1 (Build 6A317). As you know Xcode 6 supports development for iOS 8 and Xcode 5.1 for iOS 7.1. When I go to LiveCode and check out the StandAlone Application Settings, there is no option to check for iOS 8. My current set up is for iOS 7.1 which c...

Standalone app and iOS 8

I downloaded IOS 8 and I can no longer save as a Standalone App. It requires iOS 7.1 sdk platform. What are my options?. Downgrade to older version of iOS or is it a bug in Livecode that will be soon addressed? Thank for any info or workaround.

Database file not showing on the device

The database connection is lost when I am testing the app on my iPad.
My app is a quiz with questions and answer. The question does not come up at all on the iPad.
What am I doing wrong? Where in the standalone setup do I have to mention there is a database file SqlLite ?
Thanks for any help.
