Re: Built-in DataGrid issue

For example... one column I need each cell to convert to a options list or select list of 4 items... so that when user clicks cell... pop down of options... user selections one of 4 options... and then the po...

Re: Skinning the Tab Panel
This question I posted b/c I have a true tab panel at bottom of my main app screen.... On the top right I have a list of buttons that flip between 2 graphs, a grid control, some data entry screens.... In VB6 these are just buttons that show and hide things.... Is there a control like an outlook styl...

Re: Windows vs. Mac
Thanks for your responses... very helpful... JHarris... this decision to go with RB or LiveCode is agonizing... I think the fact that LiveCode runs on more platforms gives it an edge but the language is so counter intuitive to me after using VB and .Net and perl for so long. ANyway, if there is any ...

Re: Skinning the Tab Panel
Did anyone figure out how to "roll your own"? I have grouped text boxes that I have grouped by tab panel... and you flip between them... but wondering also if this is no good for mac or ios where you would normally flip or slide between those sections of data entry??? If I use Tab Panel I need to be...

Built-in DataGrid issue
Hi, Downloaded the Data Grids Tour.... played around with it. - Problem: On Columns, setting Align to Center or Right does nothing to change the alignment of the column label on the grid. I even went back to Basic Properties and hit refresh grid and still no effect. Is that a bug or does alignment o...

Re: Resize windows to various monitor resolutions
are you referring to the datagrid built into Runrev or a 3rd party data grid? Just asking as we are looking at the data grid controls as well... need one that we can color the columns separately with different colors like red, green, yellow, or no color/white....

Re: storing data in a file
Where would I learn more about how we can structure "theData"? Our app has numerous complicated objects as well as a variable number of those objects that need to be stored... i.e. if we model say an "investment"... the client might have 7 or 27 investments... and each investment has a balance, cont...

Re: Resize windows to various monitor resolutions
Do you have sample code? We used a 3rd party control for this... resizing all the controls on a card/window is not a trivial exercise...
