Just got the LC 9.0.2 and still get the same error. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you much!

Re: Xcode IOS Development SDK's folder location
I can't get past that same error message and set up LiveCode.
The only choice I see is clicking: Applications > Xcode.app
and I get the error message about the chosen folder is not a valid iOS SDK
LiveCode 9.0.1
XCode 10.1
Not sure what I can do to make this work.
All help appreciated!

Re: Array of Buttons?
Hi,
Have there been any improvements or new ideas on how to build "an array of buttons" in newer versions of LiveCode?
Thank you much

Re: Missing buttons, labels, etc. when I view the iOS Simula
QuailCreek,
Your advice was perfect.
I went to Standalone Settings >> Copy Files and scrolled thru the 2 columns of checkboxes; picking and choosing the ones that applied to my little app.
It worked like a charm!
Thank you for taking the time and effort to help,

Missing buttons, labels, etc. when I view the iOS Simulator
Hi, I'm running LiveCode 8.0 dp 15 with simulator 9.2 On my LiveCode stack/card I have a title object, a few text labels, and a few push buttons (iOS style) -- in addition to 3 multi-line text fields. In the simulator, all of my GUI elements have DISAPPEARED except for the 3 multi-line text fields. ...

Re: Iphone Simulator 5.1 Error
Neil's advice to make sure I've picked a "Development > Test Target" just resolved the stop sign error that says "iphone simulator 7.0" I just thought I'd mention that here in case someone is searching the forum for that error string like I was :) -- What I don't understand is why my pushbuttons (st...

Re: Mobgui roadmap
Hi Splash,
That helps. I had my head wrapped around the idea that mouseUp / touchEnd / touchRelease were not the same, but I see that there is not a meaningful difference. Your new implementation is cleaner. Thank you

Re: Update for new plugin: 26th December
Hi, About the point made by pthirkell on Jan 6: I have a bunch of icons (or other buttons) in my tab bar. In lieu of alt double click, what is the recommended way to get them all distributed nicely across the bottom of my card? I'm using the word "distributed" to mean "spaced evenly apart from each ...

Re: Mobgui roadmap
Hi, In the old MobGUI there were handlers for touchend touchrelease touchstart I see under "edit behavior," I can edit mgRelease and mgTouch. Is there where I should put my code that used to be in touchStart and touchRelease? Sorry, I'm not a pro and the scripts for mgRelease and mgTouch are rather ...

Re: MobGUI
Found the answer. You can browse the icons directly from MobGUI using a circular control that is top the upper-right of the word "char". It is shown in this video around the 2:15 mark. (Of course, changing the font to another one of the mobgui fonts will expose a different set of icon choices.) http...

Re: MobGUI
Thanks Splash. That worked and they installed as fonts. I see in MobGui that my icon has a font of "mobguicons-1" and the selected character is "a". That makes a globe appear. Is there any easy way to figure out which characters line up with each icon for the mobgui-icons fonts? I don't see any sele...
