Re: "The executable was signed with invalid entitlements."

Grimaldiface... I just wanted to say thank you for this post, even if it has been a while since it was posted. I'm almost ready to submit to Apple and ran across a dreaded "entitlement" error. I made the same mistake (including the random string in the ID like GHKK79j.com.companyname.myapp). I remov...

Re: Copy Card Unexpected Results

Thanks for the interesting discussion and helpful troubleshooting ideas! With your help I think I have found the culprit... a datagrid field! I checked stack sizes (they were the same), shared text properties, scripts that might be activated in the pasting process etc. and these made no difference. ...

Re: Copy Card Unexpected Results

Thanks Craig...

I am be switching to 7.1.1 next week (didn't want to introduce new variables during this stage of my development). I'll retest then and update this post.

Thanks!!

Copy Card Unexpected Results

Hi! I had an unexpected result when copying a card from one stack to another. I have developed a very complex card (lots of fields, groups, some things hidden etc.) in a stack. I copied this card to my main project stack using "copy this card to stack XXX". When I opened the copied card in the main ...

Re: Best Combo for iOS 9?

Hi Tom... So I think I'm starting to understand how LC and Xcode work together... moving to Xcode 7 is the key step that allows LiveCode to build for iOS 9, rather than a particular version of LC. Unless of course there are specific features in a new iOS that need to be accounted for. Thanks too for...

Best Combo for iOS 9?

Hi All! I am oh so close to completing an app to submit to the app store. I've been developing successfully with LC 7.0.1, Xcode 6.1.1 and OS X 10.9.5. In order to complete my app I need to find the most stable LC that supports iOS 9. I'm assuming that I'll need to move to Xcode 7 and probably OS X ...

Groups do not nest

Hi! I'm trying to nest 3 groups. One of the groups has a lot of controls while the other two have about 3 each. I can select all three groups and the inspector shows that "multiple groups" are selected. However, when I choose "Group Selected" nothing happens. I expected the handles on the groups to ...

message box auto-complete

Hi!
Novice question... when typing in the message box it will attempt to provide an auto-completion (in gray) to the command I am typing. How do I accept what the message box is suggesting without having to finish typing the command?
Thanks!

Select iOS Ringtones?

Hi! I'm wondering if it is possible to get access to and play any of the sounds native to iOS? My purpose is simple, I'd like to play a user selected ringtone or sound as a signal (like an alarm clock). The command mobilepickmedia gives a list of audio items from the devices iTunes library, but does...

Testing App Limits

Hi! Is there a limit to the number of apps that I can test on my ipad/iphone at one time? When I use Xcode to transfer an iOS standalone to my iPad I'm not able to copy more than two at a time. If I have two apps already on the device then Xcode says that the application already exists and asks if I...
