Re: Zoom IDE

bogs made me aware that bnGuides is not working in pre 7.0 LC versions

Here is a version that was saved in LC 5.5 format. (should also work in later versions of LC)

Did not test this version extensively but a first short test seemed to work

Kind regards

Bernd

Re: Zoom IDE

Thanks. I don’t mean simple alignment tools like you mentioning mean dynamic alignment tools that appear when you move a field or object around like you can see here..... https://youtu.be/r1UOx0vo_Jc at around the 25 second mark. Can you configure this? I believe someone wrote a plugin to do just t...

Re: Zoom IDE

maybe scaleFactor helps

put this into the message box and hit return

Code: Select all

set the scalefactor of stack "myStack" to 0.5
it will shrink your stack, 1.0 is original size and so on
Although this only scales one stack at the time.

Re: save image from url

I tried this on a Mac/desktop in LC 9.0.2 RC1 and it worked. You have to adapt the code to your code. (e.g. I download to desktop, I use a script local etc.) All code is in the button. I unload before load. Please see also the User Guide for load. (around p 446/447 for the LC 9.0.2 User Guide) The d...

Re: horizontal navigation in a vertical scroller

Hi Louis, here is an attempt at two mobile scrollers for your problem. It is not perfect since you have to first click to change the scroller and click again when changing back before you can scroll in the respective scroller. What makes your approach difficult is that mobile does not like two activ...

Re: horizontal navigation in a vertical scroller

Hi Louis, if you block the group script and set the card script to global tScrollerRect, tContentRect, tScrollerID on opencard setVScroller end opencard on setVScroller if the environment is "mobile" then put 0,0,375,667 into tScrollerRect put 0,0,375,1841 into tContentRect mobileControlCreate "scro...

Re: Calculating Text baselines in pixels

Hi Hermann, I think most of the variability is the fonts. They vary widely in what they report as baseline, upstroke and downstroke. This affects very much Asian fonts that have other requirements to display and when they display roman/ASCII text this shows. One of the wildest outliers is Zapfino. W...

Re: Calculating Text baselines in pixels

Hi Alejandro, here is a very rough stack that determines a lot of measures for fonts. It is not cleaned up but maybe it helps. It uses measureText and formattedText, lets you choose text size and font interactively and indicates with graphics the different values. Kind regard Bernd HowFontsMeasure.l...

Re: field and variable

Hi Propeller,

do you use decimals? If so do you use comma or colon?

a correct decimal would look like

5.2

Do you have any other text/characters in the left field?

Try to clear both fields and then type in the numbers you want.

Re: Table keywords missing from Dictionary?

Hi Keith, a tableField is "just" a tab delimited text. Say you want to address cell 2 of column 2 that would be two tab delimited items in line 2 of your tableField on mouseUp set the itemDelimiter to tab -- don't forget this put 2 into item 2 of line 2 of tText put tText into field "yourTableField"...

Re: Table Field not updating correctly

Thanks for testing.
The only difference, is the stack with the "revWriteCellField" is actually named "revTableLibrary"
Some day I will do a post without goofing it up, promised.... :)

Will correct it in the post.
