On the Mac I found it by opening LiveCode and then going to Help--> Release Notes and the 6.1.1.-rc3 Release Notes PDF opened. I would presume it's the same on a Windows install.
Can't see anything on resolution independence....

Oh yeah, why was I trying to over-complicate things with code when a simple background image would suffice...

Re: Lesson One -- Buttons become White after first test
I also noticed this, but I think it may be because it's a MobGUI Tab Button rather than a normal button. Looking at the MobGUI properties for the Tab button, it only has 3 settings - Text Color, Tab BG and Touch Text. I'm guessing the trick may be to create a if...then... script in each of the butto...

Re: SOLVED - Unable to build app for testing on android.
Hi Simon,
I just tried updating back to r22 within the Android SDK manager and testing the "Hello World" stack in the android emulator and got the "unable to build app" error message again.
Runs fine when I moved back to r21. I'm using LC 6.1.1 (rc2) on Mac OS X.

The fix was to go back to Android SDK Tools r21 by downloading the r21 SDK and copying the contents of the Tools folder to my installed SDK tools folde...

Re: Error msg - Unable to build app for testing on android.
Thanks fredotech, I've tried what you have suggested (deleting the SDK and reinstalling it within Android Manager) and even spent half the day installing, reinstalling, recreating avds but still cannot create an apk for the Android simulator or create a standalone apk file. I'm guessing this is an A...

SOLVED - Unable to build app for testing on android.
I've been running into this problem today when trying to test a stack with the Android simulator. The error message is : Unable to build app for testing: apk preparation failed. I've also noticed another error message within the terminal window on my Mac. log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for l...
