Re: retrieve livecode code from standalone desktop app

It's just that we need to keep data breaches to a minimum. But I took a look at the encrypted code in notepad++ and it was reasonably unreadable. Does anyone know if there is decompiler software available to anyone that could potentially decompile livecode's compiled, encrypted and password protecte...

Re: retrieve livecode code from standalone desktop app

I know this is a old thread, but... Is there any way today to decompile a livecode compiled stand-alone software program? I know it gets encrypted when its compiled, so I sure hope it is IMPOSSIBLE to decompile. However, someone allaying my fears would be nice. It is imperative that our Livecode sof...

Re: Bought Datagrid Helper as part of a bundle a while ago - how to upgrade?

I've never received a private message or email form Mike or karmacomposer and I can't found him in my list. I suspect he might not visit the LiveCode forum very often, so I have not tried to contact him myself by PM. Do someone know him and have an email address where I can resend his registration ...

Re: Looking for LiveCode coders

@karmacomposer NetPlan does indeed work with ubuntu 18.04. There's no nice gui front end to it that I know of, and that may be where you're thinking the combination of LC and node may well come into play. No, not really. I like LiveCode and feel it fits nicely with my vision of what we are trying t...

I've not had this issue on the Windows version. Saves are fine.

One last thing: it would have been a lot easier for people
to understand a few things had you explained what
you have now explained right at the start.
I was not at liberty at the start. I appreciate the feedback and comments.

Re: Looking for LiveCode coders

If i understand correctly, they sell VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_private_network Not at all. Eventually, we will have Enterprise class DS3 lines and will (possibly) sell hosting space, cloud space, etc. However, that is all in the near future. We just creat...

Re: Looking for LiveCode coders

Probably, they are using LiveCode to create their mobile apps. Not quite. Livecode is being used for front-end apps, but not necessarily mobile - depends on the client needs. The blockchain is separate and on our linux servers. We are NOT a fork of any existing blockchain. Ours was written custom f...

pangeaW.png - They are not fake insofar as there is a real website. The words that "hit" me were: Blockchain (buzzword of the mo') and Bitcoin (ouch). "PangeaPrime and PangeaVerse are two parts of a very important system and work together to form a nearly impentrable end-to-end encrypted tunnel. Pa...

Re: Looking for LiveCode coders

No... I screwed up our email server - lol. Email me at mike at world-class-multimedia dot com for now. I'll sort it out after i'm done with these projects. It has to do with Netplan and Ubuntu 18.04 - cpanel does not work with Ubuntu and webmin/virtualmin is not ready yet for Netplan and no other cp...
