Re: Course completion certificate not available...?
Kelly, Heather reports that the new version of LCU is available for download. Just log in to your LiveCode store account and download it. Your current license key (assuming you purchased v. 1.7 or higher) should unlock it. (Actually, just replacing your current version with the new version should ju...

Re: Course completion certificate not available...?
Kelly,
I just sent Heather at LiveCode the new release (v. 1.9.1) of LiveCode University. It might take her some time to get it up on the store, but it's on its way.

Re: Course completion certificate not available...?
Kelly, Your post gave me a clue as to what might be happening. All of the stacks and other media assets used in LCU are stored in a local SQLIte database. When LCU needs to open one of them it fetches it from the database and saves a copy in one of Mac OS's temporary folders. These folders are norma...

Re: Course completion certificate not available...?
Thanks for the question, Kelly. This is a problem I've seen before, and it is usually a result of not having your Windows system set up to recognize livecode files. See the FAQs at https://lcu.byu.edu/help/lcu_faq.lc#Q11. If that doesn't solve it, let me know, and I'll post a link for you to downloa...

Re: Course completion certificate not available...?
Hello Joop,
This is a known problem, and a fix will be coming soon in the next release. I hope to have it ready to go within the next week or so.

Re: The chosen folder is not a valid SDK
UPDATE: Panos posted a workaround to the bug report linked in the previous post, which lets you use Android Studio 3.6 with LiveCode for Android development. Basically v. 3.6 no longer installs the Android command line tools by default, as previous versions did. You have to install them manually.

Re: The chosen folder is not a valid SDK
Success! It appears that LiveCode Android mobile support is not compatible with Android Studio 3.6. I uninstalled 3.6 and reinstalled 3.5.3 and it works now!
I'll file a bug report. I'd be surprised if I'm the only person having this problem.

Re: The chosen folder is not a valid SDK
Curious. My setup is the same, except I have v. 3.6 of Android Studio. I'm going to try dropping back to 3.5.3 and see what happens.
Thanks, Matthias!

Re: The chosen folder is not a valid SDK
There is something definitely wrong with this. I spent most of the afternoon trying to get LiveCode 9.5.1 to recognize the Android SDK with no success. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled both JDK 1.8 (jdk-8u241) for Mac OS, and Android Studio and SDK (v. 3.6). I still get the error message "Th...

Re: SVG widget guff
I updated by SVGIconPicker stack with some UI niceties:
- Down arrow key in filter field selects next line in icon list
- Up and down arrow keys in icon list change selection
- Cmd/Cntl + F selects filter field
- Shift + Cmd/Cntl + F clears filter and selectes filter field.
- Tooltips added.

Re: SVG widget guff
I've often wished for a icon list picker that could be filtered. Scrolling through all of the icons is too busy for my eyes.
UPDATE: Deleted version 1. See updated stack below, which has UI goodies added.
